Old pokemon cards = $ ?

so i was cleaning my room the other day and i found an old box of pokemon cards. some of them are the shiny chinese ones. does any one no if they are worth any loot.
 
Yo, I had some nasty cards back in the day. I passed them on to a family friend, I figured he'd make good use. He didn't, he traded them all for crap and he got rid of my sik hockey cards too (autographed wuuut). They were worth maaaad scrilla back then, you should look into it.
 
Lol my friend used to have a bunch of those they are supposedly "super" rare lol but prolly on Ebay some pokemon freak will buy them for mass bank
 
I remember when the movie came out, i got the new golden card. i was so happy. maybe thats worth something?
 
haha yeah if you're gonna sell like 500 you'll probably only make like 10 duckets
they're not worth anything anymore

i'm looking for some cards for my deck, mainly psychic and lightning type pokemon.

also if you have a holographic ninetails i will buy it.

i have the green and red gameboy versions on my laptop, and thats all i do in class.
 
also if you mean a shadowless 1st edition holographic charizard then hold on to it, you won't get more than 40-50 bucks and that's if it's in the best condition possible. it is however a very rare card, especially because it's shadowless.

although charizard as a card in the actual tcg is not that sick. 120 hp and fire spin does 100 damage but it takes at least 7 turns total to play him and you'd have to remove all the energy cards from him (4) after the attack. great game ending move but otherwise you're fucked.
 
well i have my 30 crabbies, and if i use family gathering it can tackle any opponent because the damage is enormous, THEN i use my charzard to finish them off, im pretty unbeatable

yeah but you have to figure that you're only allowed 4 of each type of card in your deck, and that the attacks your pokemon make are determined by the energy cards you have in your hand. you can only play one energy card per turn.

the effectiveness of a water/fire type deck is very low. it's just a weird thing to do.

PLUS i play with a lightning and psychic deck most of the time, so i would electrify those krabby so hard using any one of my four zapdos' thunder. actually pikachu would do the trick.
 
we doing this right here!??!? noone disses my krabbies like that, NOONE! they have a heart too, and also, pikachu is a little bitch, and my boi's would have no problem drownin his ass.

seriously, pikachu is such a bitch, he treated ash like shit when he first got him, i guess ash banged him like a hammer to straighten him up tho

I have some weird ass japanese card with a white star in the corner, which means it is a 'Super-Rare' card, supposedly the doduo of some ninth gym leader or something. $$$
