Yeah, I remember getting this movie and being so amazed. My first one I bought and owned, I was so proud. Anyways, Further by TGR was a cool flick, lots of big mountain... but it was the newschool in the movie that captivated me. Check out some great old-newschool skiing, featuring JF Cusson (KANG!), Tanner Hall before he was gangsta, The Three Phils and Candide's attempts and massive air at Chads Gap.

Damn, that chads gap jump was waaayyyy smaller than the one tanner and jon built, ridic shit.
 
It seems there was so much more variety in flippyspinny things than now. Was anyone spinning both ways?

Yeah, Tanner's crossed up D-spins look rediculously sick, even today. Something about the no grab I guess for me, but I love em.
 
haha I wish I could go back and show them a copy of "Beyond the Bunny Hill", watch their reaction to it, and then once they've calmed down tell them that was an amature film that's free on the internet, then watch their reaction again
 
i love the old style. Vinny D switch 7s man, Mike Nick doing the first swtich ups, and Japans everywhere. I miss the old days.
 
i dunno, that video was okay, but those iron crosses looked like mogul airs to me. Cool to see the beginning of newschool though...

I loved Candide's one air where he landed on his back wayyyy down the tranny on Chad's.

wow its amazing to see how much skiing has truely progressed, alot less rails no oppo spinning it all seems almost (i hate to say it) easy compared to today. i still have a VHS of that movie
