Every year they say tehy have real good stuff going down and then it never happens so maybe this year will be different, a couple years ago i heard they were building a night pipe and jib park over at Jackson Gore, which is a bunch of shit, that place wont be fully done until forever

 
if they do put a park on tomamahawk okemo will be ill this year with noreaster, and then you can go tomahawk down to the pipe and jib park there all in one run which they didnt have last year, you had to go down a ton of cennector trails to get anywhere

 
bryan, when i posted lillard had just called me after getting out of a meeting...so i am sure it will be up soon.

as far as jackson gore goes...#1) you all know the ski industry is as slow as my grandmother in getting ANYTHING done..i mean what did you really expect? #2) jackson gore plans are still ON! just because a night park hasn't been built over there yet does not mean it won't happen.

First, it is Lillard not Lilliard! The East Coast Freeskiing Open is most definately going to happen. Go check out the East Coast Movie TOur in the next week or so and see for yourself. As for it being a qualifier for the USFO that is still in the works and almost definately won't be the case this year. (There would have to be a West Coast event in order to pull that off). Format is SKierCross Saturday, Saturday night 1/4 pipe contest, and SUnday Pipe. Sorry, no Slopestlye. More info will come as we iron everything out. Now I am counting on all the Okemo faithfuls to step it up this year. We must own that Pipe!

 
Thats sucks, no slopestyle, what the hell, every big comp has slopestyle, quarterpipe? who the hell wants to compete in quarterpipe, screw skiercross and quarterpipe and just have pipe and slope, slope is the most popular part of skiing and okemo has never has a skiing slopestyle constest, if u want to step it up to the next level, start doing alope competitions or everyones just gonna go to mount snow to compete, i kno im gonna

 
ya, quarterpipe and slopestyle is dope, i'd compete, just don't make it as expensive as the VT Open, that probably won't happen though. there should be a slopestyle, but wahtever, I wouldn't win anyway

 
i guess they cant have slopestyle cause their fuckin park run is soo step and has no flow

I'm stil gonna compete, slopestyle would have been sick though, the park is a little steep in the middle and then gets good the rails suck though they had two crapy rainbows and a 10-foot flat rail through the whole park, for qp they better have a better one than last year it was more of a jump, it was funny to see people hit it that had no idea though and just fly over the back

 
Thanks for the faith Mystic! The superpipe and 1/4 pipe comps will both be in the base area. Don't worry, the 1/4 will be legit this year and they are going to make the pipe steeper and much better. Obviously we are taking this comp very seriously and everything will be topnotch.

okemo is pretty sweet I went there once last year during presidents day week my brother nearly busted his nuts on the c-rail, one chick said that that was the worst nutter she had ever seen i thought it was pretty funny

The lower pipe sucks, if they could make it like the good pipe and a little steeper it would be sick, it needs to be longer though, you egt like four hits tops
