pipe is super. There's a rope tow right next to it, so no hiking. The park if iffy, i personally don't like the layout much. The trails cross each other a lot, which is another downer.

its pretty cool, pipe is sick. mountain is a lil too flat in places. there's some nice trees hidden around the mountain. tons of cool kids to ride with. park needs a few bigger hits though to replace those small ones that are just asking to be overshot

Yeah, I didn't like their park either. The Rollercoaster rail was SICK! The pipe is what dreams are made of, at least mine. But the landings didn't match the jumps I found too.

hey any of you okemo kids ski w/ spiszack at all? did he ever get hooked up by k2 or not? He's from my mountain, i used to ski with him a little when he was back here at Blue Mountain PA

man, okemo is sick, but Jay Peak up north is better.......

i like the actual mountain, it's huge!

and their park is pretty good.....

i hit it during spring, and they still had huge hits, i can just imagine what midseason must be like there......

but okemo is still a real good choice, if you're in the general area..... but if you're up near the canadia border, then hit Jay

yeah, the tow is dope.

as for park, its got kindof a whack layout. some good stuff, some bad stuff. the new s-rail and c-rail are sick. the rollercoaster is kinda fucked, kinky and bent. i heard they have some alright trees, and jackson gores closed trails.....

 
Bromley is small, but a great place. If you don't mind dishing out the cash, Stratton is amazing too.

okemo steped it up a lot this year, the people running the park and pipe are all about making it the best in the east. expect more competitions, and some 'high caliber' competitions next year. the 2 superpipe idea they had this year was dope, and they have rails of every variety, they'rejust lacking a really sweet rainbow like mt. snows. i'll be up at UVM next year, but definatly look forward to taking trips south to tear up the pipe.

 
The jumps were decent and the rails were dope this season. I liked how they threw in some rails in the larger park, it seemed like last year there werent any. The rope tow rail park is key.

but mt snows pipe is something to be desired besides no tow rope its kinda small in height like 15 ft

Okemos pipe is MAGNIFICENT.. i love it.. even when the locals said it was a bad day i still loved it.. best transitions..

Park they had the huge hit at the bottom but it was sad to see so much potential in a park but it was littered with small hits.. the could easily have the best park in the east if they made consistent 40-50 fters down the trail. like with that straight of a trail they could make a lay out similar to COC with 2 choices each hit a rail and jump combo.. thats just me..

the pipe is always nice, but when i went in the springtime, gallant you were there, it was the day when you could bring in food for a lift ticket discount, the lower part of the skier's left wall would throw you weird so you would land really low, i ate shit a few times.

I worked at Okemo last winter so skiid there like 50 times last season. Its defnitly got a perfect trail for the park, and had a pretty decent park last winter. The hits were kinda small, but were fun to learn shit on. If they throw in some bigger tables and a few more rails in Nor'easter they will have the best park. They maintain it really well and switch it up occasionally. The Zone has some nice rails,and the pipe is perfect. If they get a stair rail in the Zone it'll be so good. Theyve got some nice handrails at the base but these are hard to set up without gettin booted. Check it out next winter, itll definitly be better.

and the ONLY THING that impressed me about okemo was josh's ability to ski all season with out a pass... and andy getting caught once and having to pay a 100 fine

-okemo is almost the mammoth of the east. both of thier super pipes are cut with perfection. the park was built by a new crew this year and they did an awesome job for their first time.

-mt. snow can lick gallant's balls. pipe leaves a lot to be desired. jumps are good. rails are good. but eh....overall Okemo is where it's at.

-although, now that becca is jetting out of here...mt. snow has taken on a new look. i might pay to go there once this season.(you can take the drunk canadians with you too, bizznit)

i think okemo will be better next year.

stratton is better in so many waysa though. for one, they have plastic zipties for wickets. i didnt pay once for the 20 times i went this season. the park is sick. they change it all the time, sick jibs. they have the us open,sick park,jib jam, and pipe form that.

theyre pipe was nice, but always icy. okemos was icy to. but okemo has a pull tow.
