Okemo...What would yall like to see as ...

oh....and a flat-down box and rail, set up same lengths, height off the groud, and kink angles. basically a stair case style but with snow on both sides/the middle, set two feel off the ground.....i want it so i can ski right along next to the flat part, and then ollie up, and lipslide the downpart...it looks so dope coming from the outside and lipsliding it.
 
a large trap box that goes on top of a table, then put jumps so you can hit it a lot of different ways, like flat down, just the down, or the whole thing.
 
Thanks to all for the ideas . I am goin to comipe a list and think over what can be done and what would be good features to add. I am starting to work on pars stuff this comming monday. So see yall on the hill soon !!!
 
ugh jarrod... i thought we were getting the 300footer and putting it on the canyon flats so that we can flick off all the joeys learning to ski with mothers close behind who flip because only snowboarders are crazy enough to be on rails...
 
make a nice urban style DFD. that is what okemo needs most. so id deff make that. dont make it too mellow tho like the old DFD that broke. make it a little more steep than that. also make it a flat bar liek the long flat rail and the long FD.

id also like to see a nice down rail. nothing rediculously long, just a nice urban style down rail that could be spun on and off nicely.

^ya id raather see more rails than boxes. i just think rails are wayy more fun, and more tech. (but make them all flat bars like the long flat rail and FD rail!!!)
 
they have a s rail dipshit, you have to have neveer skied at okemo or dont ski park to not know that
 
I saw like a mellow 15 ft up box to a 20 ft down box with like a 3 ft gap inbetween but have the down box a lot lower. So its like a grab with a drop. Kind of like the one you had next to the pipe last year, but just make it bigger, that thing was so short it was kind of boring.
 
how bout a FLAT UP FLAT BOX so you could hit the up and gap over the last flat to a landing. that would be killa

WTF!?!?!?! A flat up flat would be sick. A lot of big resorts in Coloardo have em and they are super fun. If your just gonna brush off suggestions like that it sucks that you have final say in what goes in the park.
 
Yes I do have the final say ... and I only brush off sugestions that are lame and that rail just doesnt sound to thrilling to me , Ill tell you what you get atleast 40 people to say they want that and Ill make one ...
 
300' long, 15' wide huge ass box. you could like sit down, and take a ski off, drink some cocoa, but your ski back on, then do a backflip out.

no, but really, a jump box. Like a box that starts out flat, then kind of curves upward, so you can pull shit off the end. Like a flat-up, but instead of a kink, it is like curved up.

Or how about a quarterpipe BOX. That'd be a first, and it'd be sick.
 
I think a a-frame box or rail would be sick that a-frame in noreaster is pretty intense...something mellower. or maybe a rollercoaster rail like rainbow down up.
 
id liek to see rails, maybe a box, but ia gree with ryan on mostly everyting hes said, and definitly that boxes arent as fun as rails, like jsut make a bnuch of flat rails and set the mup different, like one up, one down, one flat. Note that all down strting rails should be urban style please, cool features that are trckable, not just huge gigantic things where all u can do is slide them strait, maybe 270 out, thats not too fun.
 
word on the beastly features that you can only slide. some are ok but theres gotta be stuff in between to progress on

Thats a pretty good sketch ! Thanks for all the ideas. Right now we got a new 15 ft. flat box and a 24 ft. flat boxt also a 15ft flat single barrell and 25 ft. single barell. A few more stock shit to come. Then times are gonna be tuff in the shop. Youll see sparatic new shit commin out thorough out the year. Thats bout it for now ...
 
set those boxes up a frame steeze, with the 15 ft gradually up, small gap, then the 24 ft. slightly down, thatd be balla.
 
no what we need a more tech trickable features... prefably rails. (cant wait for that DFD!) like ar5180 said an up gap to slight down box wouild be ILLIN

but then again laid back features like a nicce down rail (like the new 25 foot single barrel) are maaad fun as well. just make sure you set um up urban-like not a huge booter over the top. the paark crew did a good job with the stairset last year (the down rail), it was also fun to hit the box from the side too.

and mark, do you know what youll be setting up for preseason?? like on sapphire and world cup? i think an illin flat rail liek the new 25 foot single bar would be dope!
 
i cant wait to carve up saphire. thats such a sick cruiser, id say 3rd best groomer, i like searles way, upper cheif, and then saphire, mostly for preseason end of year saphire kinda makes me sad. but searles way is sick always and cheif is fun to strait line the huge face. im more pumped on carving then hittig features right now and i dont know why.
 
but please have it this year so that we dont have to ride the glades peak instead of the highspeed like last year. casue i wanted to hit the flat down box but also wanted to ride the highspeed, and the box won so i had to take that poop lift. and i cant wait for the booter on lower saphire bewlo the greenridge onto lower arrow, even and ryan know what im takign about
 
those are def my top 3 fav cruisers as well a dawg.

and early season can you set all the rails up in a row in the same area, not like spread out along the trail? thatd be grand.
