Okemo was looking very nice today. Very chilly (-10 windchill) but the park on Nor'Easter was real nice. There was a jump line (3 jumps, from 20' to prob 35') big flat down, 45' Kicker, 2 flat rails next to each other. After that there was a up box, the end being probabily 7 feet off the snow. Then into a big street style down and into a nice flat box.

The pipe was looking real big, and will probabily be finished mid-week.
 
your right about the top, except after the "45" footer, seems like 20, theres tw orails, then the down rail which is set up kinda weird, then the up box, then the really perfect 40 flat rail, flat down and then the box...

in general its really fun. except all the landings on the rails need to be way steeper casue it hurts a ton to ladn, especially both flat downs, and the urban down rail...

and i think the 3 top jumps should be pushed together and make on huge onewhere the 2nd jump is, and make the 4th jump 30 feet bigger, the landing on the 4th jump iw really steep and nice though, and the flat rail is awsome
 
all the jumps needed more pop, the first jump was the most fun, if the took out that pointless table and combined it with the 3rd stepdown, as said above it woulda been alot of fun
 
haha did u hear about a kid snapping his ski on it, my friends little bro, who i was skiing with saturday, was killing the up box all day and last run of the day he didnt pop enough and his ski went under the top, hdpe or lexan sheet, and snapped in half, funniest shit i have ever seen,
 
you don't need that much, i wish the landing was steeper so you could bomb into it and fly out cause it gets flat pretty quick
 
i say makethe lip hiher to the up box so like what happened up there doesnt.

and put the 4th jump back like 20 feet, and makle it like 3 feet taller and make the landing also like 4 feet taller, so its really ill
 
the snow around the mountain was pretty good though. i got my pass pulled for skiing powder on big bang. so nice and untouched (albiet man-made).
 
ha nah it wasnt really due to the hieght of the lip, i thought it was perfect, the landing could have been pushed back a little further so you could hit it with more speed, but, the kid is just a dumb ass, sunday he did the same thing on the f-d, the whole, dont turn 90 degrees to get onto the rail, and he he nutted himself, slid the whole thing on his balls, he was so short his feet didnt touch the ground
 
i havent been all year cause of my mt snow pass. okemos up rail last year was fire. kinda wanna throw the cash down and hit it up once noreaster gets crankin
 
push the up box landing back a good 10-15 feet and then itd be skrill. the park was fun last weekend for sure, im def not gonna complain for the snow that we have.
 
all sugestions noted , we should be geting more snow later in the week on upper Nor , and adding some features all the way up to the TOP...meaning under the lift... we are banging things out and building stuff accordingly to the snow we have. The SOBE Super Pipe is offically OPEN !!! Glad you guys are havin fun ...
 
wooord, i was thinking about features under the lift this past weekend, thats def balla, uber props on gettin the pipe open, im stoked for this weekend.
 
idk i think i ski with you guys a lot but you probably dont know it lol, I usually ski with the okemo team, not Oms, and i see andy all the time and im good friends with ian bruso and Torin down at totem pole,Ian coaches the little kids freestyle

haha yea bro, i got the 176 ar6, and you got the last 181 from torin, its all good, we met on the mountain a few times, and im sure ill see you this weekend..not many ppl have our skis anyway haha..see ya there bro
 
the park is super nice right now - the 3 jumps up top could be moved a bit for more flow, and the bottom box is a little haggard. over all though, fucking sick, and okemo has again managed to step it up this season. and the best part is that it's only gonna get better and bigger.

i like what you did with it. maybe add another jump down low if you can this week since the top seems to be mostly jumps and the bottom is all rails.

also please get rid of the bank turns on blind faith and put some rails or something in that area instead.
