jack, i heard they were making the wall ride five times as tall, no snow on that back so there is around a 50 foot drop to ice, the surface on it will be a mixture of sandpaper AND metal spikes, if you make it to the top, there is no coping to stall on, so you just fall over the back, just word on the street though

it was cool to see that there was a thread about my home mountain untill i knowticed it was started by a masshole then i just realised it was another kid driving up with his parents in there suv to ruin the mountain.... good news about the new rails though

yea whatever kid, vermont loc pride in full effect, nothing would ever happen in vt if it wasnt for the people coming up every weekend to to ski, its bad enough our parents have to pay double or maybe triple your taxes to fund your schools and shit, so shut your fuckin mouth before you make unwaranted comments like that, by the way, were not even from mass you fuckin idiot and i guarantee you the kid that made this post would ski all over you bitch.

 
see thats the thing i dont want another fucken s rail or a wallride, i want all the soccer moms to get out of the park with their kids id rather ski a hill with a good local crew and a bad park than ski an awsome park like okemo when you have to wade through through tourests... dont get me wrong i know everyone thats posted in this fourm could ski all over my ass but come on just stay down in mass.

^ who is this kid? Okemo has a good crew of kids who ski there every weekend..most are in this forum now...and paul is the only one I know that lives in VT so the rest have to drive up..sorry

 
i haven been there in a couple years i would love to go back tho, and yea i def. know how the soccer moms kids, old people love to go through the parks thats why rumor has it my home mountain is making u watch a movie before u are allowed in the park

 
jetman, you are the biggest fuckin moron ive ever encountered, bill said it right, theres a group of good kids at okemo and all of us except for paul are from out of state, so what, get over it, most of the people from vt i know dont seem to care as much as you, its just the few, like yourself, who are so "FUCK OUT OF STATERS" that is going to drive people away from coming to vermont to ski or to do whatever, therefore depleting the already hurting group of second home owners in the state because of how high the taxes are.

Secondly, who cares where were from, you said it, were better than you, were not the joeys skiing through the park, granted the fact that there are a lot of them, but deal with it, its at every mountain and everyone has to deal with it as well as you. You dont even know the kid who made this post, but just because hes from massachusetts you assume hes an idiot, yes most people from mass are unhappy and unfriendly people, ill give you that, but not all. Thats my rant.

 
that happens anywhere you ski - you think anyone likes the chance of landing on a soccer mom? i grew up in the east and i've lived in colorado for the last three years - same shit everywhere - tourists and joeys are annoying, but they keep your mountain open.

Jetman you are a fuckin idiot... yes i am from mass but that doesnt make me one of them.... I pretty much hate every person who lives in this state because i am origionally from CT and I personally think that everybody in this state is fuckin obnoxious. Stop fuckin hatin on all the weekenders... and no i am not one of those little 10 year old joeys that always gets in the fuckin way of everything you try to do in the park…. You may not notice it but the “out of staters� are probably the best people you find in the park (like all the people I ski with). I know that there are other people like paul that good at skiing and are from VT but im just saying… dont fuckin assume that every out of stater is shitty at skiing. So stop hatin on us because we are the ones that have to pay ridiculous taxes for YOUR state being second home owners. Sorry about the long ass speech but I felt that I had to speak up for all of us that arnt originally from vt.

 
thats cool that they are geting new rails posibly but the jumps in the park suck before the east coast open. to have a real sick park they need to get rid of the weird skiercross style tables and make some nice step downs.

what happined to drugs, sex, & rock and roll...now adays we have aids crack and techno.......

but the mountain itself is geared towards familys.. its full mostly of blue groomers and stuff and no hard stuff other than the glades that are rarely open.

^go to Mt Snow and tell me there are more difficult trails for regular skiing..you cant. A "diffucult trail" is hard to come by in VT
