Okemo Superpipe opens 22' walls

not to mention they're 100 % open and the park sounds sweet, Okemo seems to be the best shape for the newschool scene in the country. I'll be doing that shit up this weekend, who's with me?

 
i went to okemo today. the pipe was about 15 ft tall, and also left ungroomed. yet by midday it was dilectable. the park was left ungroomed and mogul feilds were easy to find, esspeacially on landings. most of the jumps do not have lips and are in terrible spots.the last jump is about 50 ft and a hip but yet the landing is terribly flat.one nice flat jib is set up along with a rainbow and the s-rail that they took out at mid day. whoever bends there rainbows must be smoking some shitty crack.they start at a 80 degree angle and continue stright up in a bent and twisted fashion. they make a nice pipe and crazy rails, but the rails are generally made and set up bad. the tables they construct are awkward as well.it is a fun all around park ounce it is groomed. that is my report on okemo.

 
i dont know how you really expected okemo to have things groomed today? it snowed until like 9 in the morning. you shoulda been on the rest of the mountain today anyway.

well to keep it real I started being a Poser Poser. I dress and act like a poser, but i'm not really a poser. I just pose to look like a poser posing. you know just keepin it underground

so you wanted me to be on the other part of the mountain? skiing the ultra heavy cement snow? it fealt like i was surfing or something getting splashed with water on every turn most people do whatever they can not to ski that.i ski the trees whenever i can, but with a foot of fresh cement, absolutely no.

- and i did say the pipe kicked ass and the park WILL be fun once they groom it.

 
If skiing is so terrible, then quit!

and at no point did i say skiing was terrible, only the weight of the snow and the landing of the big hip.....

 
then dont' hit is as a hip, get some balls and straitrun into it from two tables up and go straight over it like a table, you'll make it if you don't speed check

 
can somebody describe the park set up (rails, tables, how big?) and do they have anything setup where the pipe is?

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
 
i ski there every weekend and the hip last weekened was a 50 footer. park was also good and it sux cause im not goin up this weekend.

i second that 50ft claim...hitting that hip as a table is 50ft. park is pretty chill. their hits could use a little 'special sauce'. the first hip is fun to launch as a table. better than the second one. is the pipe up to 22ft yet? this ice storm coming tomorrow doesn't look good.
