Okemo pic of the day

i wasn't saying we shoudl hold okemo up to brecks standards, i was saying they should learn from them cause they clearly don't really know what theyre doign jump-wise cause theyre jumps aren't that good.
 
yea, the park was amazing when they have the east coast open built by the guys

im not really arguing about the jumps and specs but rather the fact that they don't put in effort which they really

i totally agree with the jumps and basically everyone else does that skis okemo. i have no idea about what goes on with the park crew each year so i cant say anything abuot if they were gonna get that guy back but they deffinetly should. either way, they keep improving the park cause its sick now
 
im sure they do try mad hard to get it sick, but i feel liek theyre focusing on jumps (prolyl cause of the weather), and i also feel like its definately the okemo administration, not the park crew...i mean have you seen some of the ads for okemo:

"OKEMONSTER: yea i groom that powder for you down to a nice schredable groomer"

^that really is an okemo ad i kid you not
 
Ok well here it is . The world is not perfect and we cant all get EXACTLY what we want.There are multiple reasons why our jumps arnt as perfect as Brecks or Mammoths . I can get into all of them but it is what it is . I havent really herd much bitchin about the jumps sence we redid a bunch of them . I actually herd alot of compliments about them. We spend a ton of money on snowmakin in the parks alone. And its tuff to get them to offer us more snow because theres no way to really prove how big of a draw the parks are. So we get what we get and build from that. Space is definitly and issue Nor easter is one of the narrowest trails on the hill so its tuff to get a super wide jump. Anyway sorry to those who dont like our jumps. And thanks to those that take a min to learn how to hit them and inturn have fun on them. As far as getting Corely (the AFSO) guy well there was talk but thats where it ended. Thanks and see ya lata !
 
i have to step in and say that the jumps now are pretty ridiculously good, especially considering what they were a month ago. the first one in nor'easter, the one right below the flat box, the one with the double takeoff, and the huge hit after the flat down box are all pretty damn good...
 
mo def props on the new jumps, theyre a huge step up from what they were a month ago, the one after the flat box is by far the best, if it had a longer landing itd be sooo epic, but props okemo park crew once again, you guys stepped up big time.
