mammoth had one a lil smaller than that, it was flat, step up, step down...i got my ass kicked with that thing a few times.

that rail looks to be pretty damn hard if your going too fast. i would never be able to make it up that thing.
 
thats actually really dope...if you have ever seen nixon jibfest.....its a snowboard movie they had a step up like that and its dope what they could do on it...but some ate shit...hard
 
there's some sick trick potential there, i can see something in my mind, i dono if i can explain it though.

start off on it one way (preferably unnatty) and then spin 90 so you're forward to the box, and thenn... pop up and turn 90 more so that you're sliding the rail natty.

if you 270ed into it and then 270ed out it would be like the sickest spinniest flowiest thing ever.
 
all u have to do is hop up when u get to the step up, its really not that big of a deal. It can however eff u up if u mess up

yeah i was there ysterday, and ts pretty weird, but i guess it could be fun, i thiink they should have just made it step down insteasd of up
 
the timing woudl haveta be perfect. skiers would def. have a tougher time with that, boarders 50/50 just haveta get there tips over
 
wow, you have no clue what the park crew goes through to improve the park. they are on this site and constantly asking for suggestions and comments so dont say they can put that much more effort into it.
 
first off, prove it

second, they should just go to mammoth or breck for the weekend, and then copy how they do their jumps, not asking us, honestly as a community i have no faith in NS

and comparing places out west to northeast...are you kidding

there is a little something called space and snow that is very different from the west to the northeast.

maybe if you tried to compare it to some place in the east your argument would be legitimate
 
then why can stratton (after they try, aka VT open), sunday river, and mt. snow have sick jumps like that?

i mean if okeho is claiming theyre tryign to have a sick park why dont' they actually commit to it and blow a shitload of snow and make sick jumps.

and if you read those threads, every reply is like "the rails are sick, but the jumps suck, and it takes liek 5 replies from the park guy till he actually adresses the jump issue (it sounds liek hes not the jump tech though)

thats pretty much exactly what im talking about man, like with more effort okemo could be sooo much better
