Okemo or mount snow

from what ive heard from mt snow kids that skiied at okemo before the park was redone and got much better, okemo is the place to be out of the two.

yeah okemo was pretty nice last weekend they put in a 50ft up at the top of nor'easter, put the park was un groomed last saturday after they got the snow, so the inrun was moguls...w/e it should be fun this weekend

i went to both last week, and okemos park was deff better as of then

mt snow only had un blanco open, and everything was kinda lame

okemo had lots of fun shit, and some good sized booters

okemo owns stratton and snow for rails right now, stratton has the best jumps, even though okemo has stepped it up this week.

yeah i looked at that okemo park update thing with pictures on there site, it looks like they rearranged the jump line, the first hit looks amazing, same with the 3rd but the 2nd looks like it has such a quick transition

they repushed the first jump in the three jump line and supposedly its really really good now, like 40 ft, big steep landing, im pretty sure they redid the takeoff of the next two jumps as well and im hoping theyll push the landing of the big jump up top to make it a little more like an actual landing. the bottom part of noreaster was also supposedly getting redone maybe at some point this week. so this weekend should be balla.

Ya I work over at Okemo at that 50 footer is straight up insane. It's right at the top of the lift line with a blind drop straight onto the face of Nor'easter for a landing. There's a series of smaller (20'-40') jumps on the rest of the face, ending with a series of nice rails and boxes at the bottom of the trail as well as the landmark wall.

okemos pretty nice right now. the top 50-60 ft stepdown is absurdly large. i hit it yesterday and it was quite big. and they recently rebuilt the 3 jump line. the 1st jump out of the 3 is soooo good right now. by far the best table okemos ever built. the jump line goes 35-40ft into a 30-35 into a 40. all our rails are really nice right now. they got the truth and the FDF box out back to back which is a pretty fun line.

id reccomend okemo right now

I went to Okemo the the wrong day. I went friday the day before they added everything. I was pissed that i drove all the way down there for only 1 jump and a pipe full anoying snowboarders calling their drop every 2 seconds. Its sad that it took them this long. Right now Jay peak probly has the biggest jump and thats just sad. I should have just stayed up here.

the step down at the top is sooo ill, its the weirdest feelin first hit tho cause it seems like ur just gonna dropp 100 ft

williams and ar5, are they doing anything new this week on the side of the pipe or on blind faith?

not 100% sure, i think they may be putting the staircase up at the pipe, but as far as blind faith goes they kinda stop caring about it while theyre gettin noreaster goin full force.

staircase will be open tomorrow (2/10/07) no center rail just yet I have to build a new one the one from last year took a beating. Lower Nor'Easter will get a few adjustments coming soon ,for now we changed the jump down there to a his and hers. And Blind Faith will get some attention soon too. Weve been super busy with Nor'Easter we didnt have much time to add stuff over there. But its really good to hear that we are doin a bit better then our compitition. Hopefully we can keep the bar raised and keep a good park for you guys this season.

stop claming stratton i went there 3 days and its not that great not better then okemos line at all the jumps are just small and the take offs are dec aand berrside the jump is mad skinny and like a 35

rails suck

okemos legit uck stratton

the takeoff for lipsliding the flat down rails on noreaster is realy nice, but the jump to get onto them is so small that it is really awkward to disaster. particularly the first one. just a thought.

also the push for the jumps on the upper part was very nice.
