Okay so whos moving out to coloado this winter...

Here is something that makes me a little mad so don't do it.

If someone asks you "where are you from" and you have been living in Breck for a year and a half. Do not reply "Here". It makes you look like a fool. You are not a local unless you have lived there for a long time (over 5 years) and/or you were born and raised there. This goes for any ski town.

Simply say "I'm from (Insert place name)" this is much more interesting and honest.

^ ha i think everyone know that "local rule." Or maybe I kno if cuz i lived in about 4-5 different parts of the US my whole life.

too many people moving to Summit Co. who say they're locals after one season.

if you can't tell say that you saw a movie at the old theatre before SkyLine or was here before Target or Borders then you really can't appreciate the true meaning of "local"

I grew up in the republic of boulder when people still knew what it ment and graduated Silverthorne Elementary in Summit when houses were still affordable... by the way, any other true locals to Summit Co. here? (just curious)
 
im asking for your permission to grant if im a local or not so if i live in frasier colorado my whole life and ski winter park every weekend am i a local of winter park???
 
goin on my 11th season in Summit, so I can say I'm a local right, so much has changed, mostly for the bad.
