So we all know jf cusson won the x-games like 5 years ago with his switch7 and beat out jonny moseley. so i was checking the vid out on expn.com and it just so happens that that switch 7 was unnatural. if you don't believe me check the vid! that trick is a hammer today and he did it like 5 years ago...and hasn't done it ever since. i find this so weird because that was the only time i ever saw jf hit a jump switch and it was such a freaking hard trick geez i'm so confused and where is he now?

im guessing it was his "natural" spinning direction at the time, a long time ago i used to spin left switch and right forward, and then one day i spun left forward and im sure he would throw his more compfortable spin for an x games trick, but yeh 1242 he does a lot both ways

hehe, I was in the booth with those guys, working for espn back then, and we were just figuring out what to call a lot of stuff. Unnatural was still a rollerblading term and hadn't really worked it's way into skiing vernacular yet. I still remember uncle e's call on the replay: "Canadians don't have good tans," [circling JF's white stomach on the screen.]

Interesting side note on terminology: my roommate works for Skateboarder Magazine, and chuckles whenever I use "switch" to describe a ski trick. He thinks fakie is more accurate.

He actually has been playin a whole fuckin lot of golf n this summer i heard he won like some major tournament in the north of qc.. n e way dont think he still skis much. unheard of from anybody at arrmada this season.
