Did the ski patrol actually blow up chads gap, cuz after tanners crash i thought they just blew holes in the landing but it still gets filled in in the winter? or is it completely leveled to a point where chads gap will never be hit again?

If it is a goner does anyone have a picture of it? Thanks
 
after doing some sick ass tricks, tanner broke his ankles coming up short on chad's in 2005. so ski patrol blew up the kicker they had built, i guess so no one else would hit it. chads gap is a gap- the landing is a big mound of earth, i think from the mining days. you cant blow up a gap obviously. all they did was blow up the kicker they had made at the time.
anything else you hear is just people riffing on all the confusion caused by questions like yours around the time it happened
 
Don't spread this shit around, MFM and his crew will fuck you up. The gap is a holy place, you can't just go there.
 
No, chad's gap is just down that gulch or something.... Don't you just go through a gate from a parking lot?
Maybe he should check out pyramid gap first, chad's gap is on another level.
 
its totally impossible to ask questions about chad's gap or pyramid on newschoolers because people just tell jokes more than 50% of the time so you cant tell whats real and whats not... just dont bother.

i think if your good enough to hit it then your agent can get this info for you anyways

They didn't blow it up. They blew the actual kicker up... which was 100% snow... just to avoid other people hiking up to hit it. The landing is a pile of mine tailings (old rocks and gravel), and is still in tact.

go hit it.

sorry to double post, but i laughed extremely hard at this. Even though I haven't been on NS for long this is one of the funnier things I've seen.
 
most of it is jokes. look up the how do you get to chads gap from the bottom of alta thread and read all of it. then you will understand.
 
and while the aliens were taking it ski patrol blew it up and then MFM put the beat down on the aliens...end of story kids
