Ok NS, if you have acne read this. 10 things.

Accutane is by far the best way to cure acne. I did it. It took two sessions though because my back-ne was so bad. But honestly it's worth it because you never worry about it the rest of your life. Lame side effects though during the process

such a bad idea. dont take acutane.

my dermatologist wanted me to take it and i said hellll nahhhh. too many bad stories.

I have this topicle cream called aczone that is the same makeup as leprocy medication which is kind strange. It doesnt completely get rid of everything but it keeps it down. I used to take pills called minocycline every day for it too which helps clear the oil out of your skin, but i didnt like being medicated so after aftering it cleared most of it i just stopped taking it. Its has come back slightly, but it's not really that big of a deal.

also, even though it's a good idea to go to a dermatologist, dont just take everything they say as truth. Do your own research and figure out what is best for your body and what you are comfortable taking yadday adda....if i had listened to my dermatologist instead of doing my own research I would have been put on acutane.

What bad stories? oh yeah the people that commit suicide. well those people were already hella depressed to start. accutane is by far the most effective way. it slowly kills all of your skin and the reactants and agents or whatever in your skin that were highly susceptible to acne. i'm glad i did this treatment

Accutane shrinks your pores. It basically forces your skin to be like it will eventually get once you outgrow your hormonal adolescent years and lose the acne. You pores are enlarged and crappy when you are a teenager, and Accutane prematurely shrinks them. Then you stay on it for a while, and the pores evertually just stay like that. Basically making your skin grow out of the teenage, acne years in a few months.

ahhh. got it. well anyway i'd recommend it. i turned out fine. just use a lot of chapstick and you'll be set

I had horrible acne for awhile, and then I started scrubbing my face good with a rough towel and it eventually went away. Why can't people do that anymore?

IMO, some people just need to stop worrying so much about what they look like. most of you will just grow out if that stage. then there is motherfuckers like me that are past puberty and growing and shit and still have it bad. well atleast on my back and chest do. i was thinking about accutane but in the navy, you'd have to do too much shit so fuck it, too much of a hassle. i just gave up. and i'm not embarrassed to have my shirt off. fuck that shit.

and chocolate definitely makes my face break out bad and get all greasy. i don't care what this guy has to say

Even though you're not supposed to.. I drank on accutane. Not a lot.. maybe 10 times drunk. I am 5'6 so I'm already small and accutane thins out your blood so I really just had to be careful. I didn't really notice any weird side effetcs due to drinking.

i always never got why people would buy pro active and other over the counter stuff

just go to the doctor, be like, can i have anything for my face? they look at it and go...yeah sure why not and bam. super effective prescription medicine.

less irratation = less acne. so if you were scrubbing w a towel you may have been exfoliating away the dead shit, but thats really not a good idea, haha. maybe you just grew out of it

Accutane... It's bad shit guys. Yeah, it wil most likely clear you up but I've read too many stories and seen to many pictures of bad aftermath to ever want to try it myself.

shit works, 1 year on it and my face bumps peaced! Too bad it causes you to be skitzo while your on it. No bad side effects after taking it tho.

i did that too. washed my face twice a day. and I still had acne. sometimes things that work for some people just don't work for others.
