This is the fucking email they sent me when I replyd to them bitching them out about charging me 205 for a warrentyd ipod:

Dear Apple Customer,

Thank you for replying to Apple.

Please either call Apple to discuss service for your iPod or reply to this email

to decline the repair.

To contact Apple by telephone, please call 800-APL-CARE (800-275-2273) and

choose the option for status on a recently scheduled repair. Help is available

seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. central time. Please call before

8/8/05 or the iPod will be returned to you unrepaired.

To decline the repair, please reply to this email with the following statement:

"Please cancel my dispatch and return my iPod unrepaired."

Funny, I've never had any problems with any Apple product. When you deal with Apple you want to be as nice as possible to their tech support. I'm not kidding when I say they keep records on every aspect of the phone call, even the tone of your voice and how you speak to their reps. When you're nice to Apple, they're nice back.

They have my records from back in 1988 when my parents purchased an lcII+. Since then, I've purchased maybe 8 machines from them, all with extended warranties and even when I tell them I broke it doing something stupid they're exceptionally fast and nice about it. Don't lose your cool man. If you were a dick to me, I'd be one back to you.
