so i just bought a 91 accord and dont know what type of oil i should put in it

take it to a shop so they can tell you... thats what i would do.

We always use Mobil 1 on our cars, its supposed to be the best.

if it has high milage use a synthetic meant for high milage

it makes a difference.

15w-40 for diesel engines.

RTFM! my guess is 5w-30.

since it's a 91 i'm assuming it has a good amount of miles on it, anything above 75,000 miles should be using a high mileage synthetic oil, i've found mobil's to be pretty good
