its lift grease thats used to lube the gears, zout you can find it in your grocery store works the best, but i usually just send my stuff to the cleaners and ask for spot cleaning.
It happened to me, thank god it was at Snowmass, I left the jacket with them to get it cleaned. When they couldn't do it they paid for a replacement. I guess going to a yuppie resort can help out. Most places would have told me to get bent.
