That's right, the last session of camp is almost over and this coming

Saturday will be the first of three water ramping sessions totally open to the

public. The dates and times for these sessions are as follows:

Saturday August 23rd 10:00am to 8:30pm

Saturday August 30th 10:00am to 8:30pm

Saturday September 6th 10:00am to 8:30pm

The cost for an entire day of ramping will be $35. These dates are to

be exclusively for the skiing and snowboarding community, although you

may also bring your skateboard, skates, or bike to ride for no

additional cost. Spread the word to friends and family and get to the

only freeride specific water ramping facility in the world. For any

questions call 1-800-963-3496 or 419-883-3495 or send me or Jibjib a PM

or post your question in this thread. Thanks for reading and we hope to

see you soon.

went there for 2 weeks this year. i would totally recommend it to anybody. not just skiers and boarders but anybody who is into action sports

So I'll be turning 18 before this summer rolls around. I went to a public session last year and had a blast. However the public seesions take place during my football season and two-a-days (kill me). is there anyway i can come maybe a few days or a weekend during the summer? Possibly early July or late June?

Yes, there is definitely going to be an in ground Olympic tramp at Dreams this year. It is one of the yellow Australian fly bed tramps, just like they use at Placid and the UOP.

Also, there will be a summer rail setup. I can't release a whole lot of details right now, but lets just say that there is a possibility that a certain beverage company may or may not be helping out with it. As soon as specifics are determined and plans finalized, I will let everyone know for sure. This is definitely going to be the best summer yet at Ohio Dreams

Sweet it's gonna be a dope summer!

Poles and gloves are both more personal preference. Most people wear gloves I think and most don't use poles but some do the opposite on both. Bring them and if you don't wanna wear them you don't have too..

Bring poles, if you want you can use them, though most people don't bother on the water ramps. And yes, I do advise bringing gloves. I wear them whenever I am ramping just to make sure I don't cut my hand on my edges.

Glad to hear you're coming out! If you've got any other questions shoot me a PM and I'll see you out there!

gloves yes yes yes and some more yes...tweaking grabs and sliding your hand up on grabs w/o gloves is badd..I cut the inner part of all my fingers doing a mute one year...sucked so bad
