As I'm sure you all already know, Jay-Z dropped his new album on September 11th (odd choice of date, but whatever). I'm not even a huge Jay-Z fan, but I have to say, he's outdone himself.

Here are a few of the tracks:

I dont really care for any of it to be honest. He's trying to be something hes not, the videos are very dark IMO and just not what I want from him, if i wanted to listen to emo rap id listen to someone else. I miss the old Jay-Z.

He considers himself the savior of rap when IMO he is leading the downfall of modern hip hop.

hes trash listen to im a biter not a writer......haha i say that but im listening to feelin it.. only good song and Its Like That.

Just so you know he put it on 9-11 because he released the BP1 on 9-11-01 and he still had huge album sales so thats why he repeated the date with BP3. That and he wanted to do the concert in NY on day of his release also.

But to everybody saying that this album is his worst, I don't really

agree. Yeah the old Jay-Z is more hardcore but what did you expect,

he's a multi-millionare now, back then he was just some kid hustling in

Brooklyn. I think for what it is, this album is pretty sick. He's not

sticking to his old formula, actually in one song he says,:

HOV on that new shit, n****s like how come,

N****s want my old shit, by my old album

That's exactly how I feel. He takes his shit in a new, decidedly

different direction, and I for one like it a lot. I'm not the only one.

so you would rather have a rapper use the same style for 10+ years instead of growing and trying new routes to make music. i guesse you probably wanted him to make an all auto-tune album huh? stfu, jay-z is the best to ever do it, and will be for a long time
