That snow-forecast site is bullshit though dont use it. It has been wrong more than its been right.
Meadows said they might make snow when it gets cold for a rail park.

Bachy didn't open til Thanksgiving last year. We still got time. And a few days of snow coming starting tonight.

snow-forecast.com looks promising. It's supposed to get to 35 sunday and get cold and stay realy cold like 25s for the rest of what its predicting.

Tahoe feels your pain, my friends...

Pretty sure the entire west coast is getting raped this season for whatever reason... Hopefully we have a huge march or something to make up for this lost time.

Not calling it a bad season... just calling a slow start to it... its already Dec. and nothing is open.. thats sloww.

So I heard a little talk on the radio today about their could be a possibility of some snow in portland sometime late this weekend!! something has to be brewing up for people to talk about it....anyone else here about this?

Thanks for pointing it out Iggy - keep checking the Meadow's Blog (apparently Dave Riley kept title Dave's Blog when he went to Telluride) for Dave Tragathon's updates.

their saying at least 4-6 inches in portland on sunday afternoon...and around 2 feet in the hills!!!! this is going to be a good storm

haha yeah I am going to pick up new tires early tomorrow morning. If the shitty WA drivers are anything like the OR ones, tomorrow will be interesting.

this video which I am sure all of you have seen was filmed like 3 blocks from my apt so not trying to have people anywhere near my car with snow on the road...

haha yeah I am going to pick up new tires early tomorrow morning. If the already (IMO) bad oregon drivers are anything like WA drivers, snow on the roads = fucking shit show....which is funny growing up driving them all the time.

this video, which I am sure all of you have seen, was filmed a few blocks from my apt, and is definitely on a steep hill, but the whole area is pretty hilly and I dont think I am gonna park my car anywhere close just in case some fucker can't handle his shit...

Its on Kiddiez! As of 12:43PM, employee riding is allowed. The Shipyard is right outside my office window - See you guys on my break at 2PM or so.

Bwahahahahahahahahaha!

Speaking of tomorrow, is Meadows open daily now? I know the website banner says so, but I thought Meadows was only open on Sunday. Could someone clarify this for me, thanks.

meadows is open now daily ith limited lifts running. i think its daisy buttercup and easy rider.. lame but theres some nice snow and if youre so inclned there is a little rail park.

timby on the other hand, even though its flat as crap has like 4 chairs running and a lil park or something and less people probably..

How long was the line for Daisy today? I imagine it took like an hour to get on with all the kids from break and all. Also, what did they have setup in the rail park?

The lift line on Daisy was not bad at all yesterday - none of the lifts were. The Shipyard has three lines - 1) Picnic table to down box, 2) snow height up flat down box to 15ft flat box and 3) 10ft metal ledge to rainbow rail to left and right c boxes. There is also a tire jib set up in-between lines 2 and 3.

Unfortunately, the idea of a ropetow in the Shipyard has not been actualized. Repeatedly tell every Park/Grooming/Operations person you find that it would be a great idea.

hopefully it starts snowing next weekend, if not it will defenitly snow in march, cause it always dumps in march but I don't want to wait THAT long.

I have started feeding the local marten again - He brought the snow in December so I am confident he will help us out now.
