OH MY GOD POLLARD CROSSED HIS SKIS!

Pretty sure the angle makes them look more crossed than they really are, and probably from a reverse angle they'll appear to be less crossed in regular ep fashion. If not, I'm sure he broke his leg twisting his ski over the other one.

it's impossible for his skis to cross, his real promodels have strong magnets positioned at correct polarities that they repel each other. what we are seeing is merely one of his skis going up, and the other down, giving the illusion at this angle that his skis are crossed.

the reason your skis won't come with these magnets is because at some point you will probably slide a rail on them, and just stick to the rail.

polard can do it tho because he's a beast.

youre right that hes doing a critical, but his skis are still crossed even though the grab is supposed to be not crossed. if you look at where his grabbing hand is, its in line with his right leg. now to grab the left ski at your right leg, you have the angle in the left ski. well unless you grab the very tip of the left ski (which he isnt), he has to cross his skis. they are crossed, but unintentionally
 
I guess I'm the only one that remembers the classic ski movie Area 51 by TGR. Pollard crosses his skis in that movie, but he's like 16 too.

He's doing "Skodeos" or switch rodeos with tail grabs.
 
He isn't crossing them yet. He'll cross them in 2012 and the world will end just when the Mayans said it would! Pollard is still my fav though.
 
its a flatspin, not many people seem to be doing them anymore even though they look super sick
