Are some skiers trying to copy snowboarding?

bend yer brakes, fool. heat em up with a propane torch, bend it out straight, then put in a new 90 deg. bend further out. then heat the shit up till the steel is a 'straw' colour on the egdes of the flame and dunk the whole shebam in water to restore the temper. pull off any plastic brakes n shyt first. your warranty will be void but who gives a fuck?

you could always try using a file to take some of the sides of the ski off.

Dang yo, I come home from school and I am being raped online! I just wanted to know if anyone rode them yet. And by the way, I just wanted to know if anyone else got them at the same time as I did. I bought the skis before I even heard all the ruckus about them, probably wouldnt now seeing as I will be forever known as a trend whore. What? Well, I have decided the 4FRNTs might be a little too stiff for my liking, if I could keep them I would, but I need more park and less all mountain. I guess I will just get the scratches, so this is my official announcement that, although 4FRNTs are retardedly awesome, I will get some scratches. They are cheaper and the have a softer flex and more side cut. If I knew the 4FRNTs were like pocket rockets I might not have bought them, but they are still frickin sweet. Bash me all you want, but sometimes this shit happens. And you guys are right, I really did not know anything about them, at least their stiffness, but its hard to do that unless you see them in person, and when no one has ever seen them its kinda hard to do that.

I thought you said in your earlier post that they weren't as stiff as you thought they would be. Then you make the reference to Pocket Rockets which are pretty damn soft in flex. But your selling them because they're too stiff? Hmmm...

Damn. I mean... Ah forget it. I was kidding myself before. Just forget everything I said up their. I though I was buying a park ski, cuz thats how the skis are marketed. But they really dont have much sidecut, and when I said they were not as stiff as I thought they would be I did not mean they were soft. They are still stiff, but not like Pistol stiff. Correct me if Im wrong, but a person who will stay in the park 80% of the time does not need an all mountain ski. So to recap, I need more side cut, more flex, and more money in my pocket.

speaking of brake jobs... no one told me that value brakes is the old just brakes... they gave my truck a 'friction relign' for 112$. had to take the truck to a real shop the next week because it was worse than before. the honest guy said all value brakes did was stick a new horrible pair of like 8$ brake pads on and thats it. Thanks value brakes... YOU SUCK

I wish I could get new skis and be cool....oh wait, I'm getting Atomic SX-9's in a month or so. I forgot about that part. That's right fuckers, I'm getting skiercross skis. My 1080's will have to last me for the park, but they'll be my 2nd resort, as I'll spend all my time carving the shit outta the slopes. Word....

For those who received their 4frnts, i was wondering what length you guys got. I have been waiting on my 160's for the longest, and everytime i contact them they tell me there is problems with the forest fires and that the 160's are the last batch being made. They said they were going out this week but havent received a email from them that they went out yet. Thanks
