Oh man, Bush and Kerry in WI/MN

Hahah this was kind of funny. Bush and Kerry both went through Minnesota and Wisconsin in the last week and gave a variety of speeches. One of our local news programs took a number of issues Kerry and Bush brought up and stamped them 'True' or 'False'. It was funny, Kerry got 3 'Trues' and 1 'True but misleading' and Bush got 4 'Falses'. The funny thing was, they had a number of issues to take on from Kerry's speech but from Bush's speech they said, 'He brought up so few real issues that these were the only 4 we could choose'.

Also, what do you Bush supporters think about the rest of the world? Since it appears Bush will win, do you think the rest of the world's opinion is wrong of him? I say this because, like JDMay said, the rest of world is already shaking their head. THe mayor of London called Bush the greatest threat to the planet earth alive right now. I ask this because, Bush is almost universally hated around the planet and the image of the US, in relation to Bush, has plumeted because of his pompus attitude and 'moral clarity'. So to you supporters, what's your opinion on Earth. Should there really not be a UN and should the US really 'spread liberty'?

i think the UN should get their act together, and THEN work towards peace and civility. there was a missionary that was told by the UN that if they flew in to the sudan to give Bibles, they would be shot down, because theyre not part of the right NGO

Well im glad everyone else on earth has an opinion of how to run our country. but untill they become as powerful nation as America they should stick to their own domestic problems. Not to mention every country has problems that are unique to itself. Therefore not every political system/political policy would work for every country. What does the mayor of London know about our problems here in America. I find it fascinating that everyone living outside America has an opinion on how we should run our country, but sorry we didn't get where we are today by listening to the mayor of Londons ideas.

God is an American.

...except, apparently, for the two major presidential candidates, who don't talk about anything except Vietnam and 'family values.'

Being President is not as mystical as everyone makes it out to be. You just have to learn some conventions and maybe learn how to read a teleprompter and then the rest is done for you, no matter whether you're Bush or Kerry or Nader.

Personally, I plan on running for president when I turn 35, simply as a matter of civic duty (and no, I imagine I won't win... unless you vote for me).

Why dont UN just invade America? Cause that'll be so great.
