Offseason training

its that time of year when resorts start to close and i have no idea what to do with myself, i would like to do something over the summer that would help improve my skiing other than trail running and rock climbing. what does the rest of ns do?

any tips or bumps = +k

skateboard, mtn bike, hike, fap(dont do this), whatever you do, just dont sell your dh bike for new skis

cliff jump, longboard, occasional tramp. i dont necessarily "train" specifically for skiing in the summer, but I do try to stay active. i try to focus on relaxing and generally having a fucking blast during the summer.

i do have a job and one thing i would recommend to everyone else is slackline, really helps with balance and reaction time

thanks everyone for the ideas and suggestions, keep em coming!

(not me but it gives you an idea of what goes on)

Get a job so money isn't an issue when time for new gear/lift tickets rolls around. I'm working like 40 hours a week for most of the summer then I won't need to think twice about dropping however much for a season pass.

i go to the gym mostly to do leg workouts and torso, gotta do those leg presses and squats... also go running to boost up that cardio... then again i do that during the season too, so i don't really know if it's a "offseason" training.

I plan on starting to do skate edits of my friends, so i might learn to do some shit on skate too, who knows...

mountain biking keeps you physically and mentally fresh for ski season. And it's incredibly fun.

Tough sport to get into because of the initial cost (the bike), but it's worth it.
