Sammy's edit is going to be hard to beat, dropin' hammers start to finish!
 
Tanners match up is a pretty much a non event.

Sucks because I enjoyed Wiley's entry more.
 
sammy carlson's entry is the most banger ski edit I think i've ever seen. Such a great flow to the edit and holy shit I love watching him ski
 
Imo round 1 winners should be sammy, sean, benchetler, and wiley. Tanner's edit was really good but it just didn't have the tricks or style of wiley.
 
Wiley's was so sick! hope he makes it through. sammy and sean are the winners in the other rounds i think. haven't got to pep and chris yet.
 
Sammy C is gonna take this. Good to see him slaying. Hate to pick the spin to win guy, but his edit is next level for the BC.
 
My thoughts.

If it doesn't come down to Sammy, and Pettit, then a fucking crime has been committed.

Tanner will win his round on name recognition alone. Wiley's edit was better.

Pep, and Bentchetler was a tossup. I gave it to Bentchetler based upon the butters off natural features.

Overall I feel like Sammy went HARD, and should get the W in the end.
 
Sammy and Pettit are the tops - by far.

I had a hard time choosing between Tanner and Wylie. Who did you pick?
 
pwhite and petit had my favorite edits. parker's style isn't even close to being touched by any edit in there. the only one that wasn't a no brainer was pep v. bench, i gave it to pep. it's a bummer that wiley is going to get screwed on this one.
 
^ I agree with Imlach, P-White didn't have as many rotations as sammy but his style was flawless and he stomped everything. Not too mention he had some burly ass shit in there.
 
Pwhite: Damn, and him doing a triple backie is hilarious.

Sammy: Even more damn in terms of tech, but the style is a little lacking. Also, not too much real skiing.

Bentchetler: Super smooth, stylie, and mellow.

Pep: Sketchy landings, but holy fuck that zero spin off a cliff was dope.

Dane: Standard stuff. Mellow spins, nothing too big, but enjoyable.

Pettit: Crazy features, smooth style, big drops. Love it.

Thall: Fantastic pillows, dated but smooth tricks.

Wiley: Wow. Tech tricks, big switch landings, and some pretty solid style. Oh, and some wacky pillow stuff.

Pettit was my favorite.
 
Petit wins for me. Spinning both ways, landings aren't bombed out, doing tricks off huge cliffs to steep landings, ripping lines, going big.
 
Obviously his skiing is super on point but it really bothered me that a good portion of P-Whites spots looked like they were filmed on a resort there were so many tracks everywhere. Kind of took me out of the edit, you would think they would put the effort into getting after the untouched zones. All of these entries are sick though!
 
Sammy - Really sick. He's probably the best at bringing his park tricks to bc jumps.

P White - More enjoyable to watch then Sammy's. Style is so raw and unmatched by anyone else.

Pep - First switch line with the zero was insane. Great to see him still killing it.

Benchetler - So fun to watch great style and technicality. Butters were dope. A tossup but I gave it to Chris.

Dane - Decent bummer he got hurt

Sean P. - Ridiculous. He can rip lines and send big tricks with style. Possibly will win the whole thing.

Tanner - Good. I like watching him ride pow. Felt like I've seen a lot of stuff like that from him before.

Wiley- Another one of my favorites to watch. He's really well rounded. Got those blunts on lock

Wow, super stoked on this contest. Alot of great shots. So far i think Carlson and Petit had standout segments.
 
i agree with all of this, only difference is i voted pep based on giant switch landings, also sammys back to back doubles on a bc booter line was nuckin futs
 
Anybody know how they made these brackets? Seems like it wasn't random and they put some thought into it. It is a bummer Wiley is up against tanner.
 
Yeah, seems to defeat the purpose of this whole thing somewhat. Resort skiing is not "Real Backcountry" Just my thoughts though.
 
For slaying BC booters maybe...I get tired of watching jumpers.

At least tanner had some original features in his.

Either way parker white, sean pettit, wiley, etc.. will all lose due to this being a public vote. Shit if dumont was in on the entry he'd probably win.
 
I too was really hyped on his segment!! Wiley's taps and butters are so tight! Will be a tight one between him and Tanner. Tanner's was super sick too, especially loved the last shot.
 
Sammy over Pwhite.

Petit over Dane

Pep over Benchetler

Wiley over Tanner.

I think Petit's was the best overall. Sammy had better skiing but the whole package was definitely better in Sean's.
