I think it's worth noting that with no olympics or other super major comps in the future, everyone is going all in this year. It's sick, but it's definitely taking it's toll on everyone.

I'm with Bishop though. I'm not a fan of progression if it forces the this many injuries. At the same time though props to them for going for it.

Why? Look at Gagnier's score, look at his skiing. He's pushing style and has been rewarded for it. Maybe the other skiers should take note and stop trying to huck themselves so hard.

Yeah, as much as I like progression, I don't want them to break themselves. It is crazy how much of a huckfest it is.
 
I don't even care that this is a huckfest, i enjoy watching these dudes push the limits of the human body. this shit gets me fired up. Bobby Brown is straight up tough as fuck.

but there are other ways to progress than just adding more rotations and flips. years ago it was a joke but now its true....our sport is going full steam ahead towards aerials

Can't really tell the best skiers in the world not to progress though is the thing. They're gonna do it til they can't do it anymore.
