I think they ran out of them??? Im not sure whos left after Rooney, Owen are out and Crouch is the last guy in... And yeah, Im not trying to take anything away from Germany either, they played well
 
its not that they ran out of subs, its that they play a 3-5-1, which obviously has only 1 forward. The talk is they should have been playing a 4-4-2, cause they have 2 quality strikers. A lot of teams play 3-5-1 and don't go very far, i.e. US this year, argentina 4 years ago.

Ronaldihno dit NOT impress me at all this world cup, little imagination and no brilliance in this game.

Ronaldo made me bite my toungue with a lot of goals, but he still played lazily most of the time.

Brazil was far from it's best shape, and France finally started playing like it can.
 
I am still pissed france beat spain since i love spain, but now I am rooting for France. It sounds pretty good to say "my team got knocked out by the future world champions" I hope germany beats Italy since i really don't like italy at all. But, I do like both France and Portugual, so go both of them. I think france is the much better team though.
 
yeah, and finally we got to see some of the old zidane.. he was totally amazing this match! and what happened on the goal ? no man on henry, that's just wrong! i think the only one who didn't play well i frnace was barthez.. well he saved the shots but not with confidence! and finally ribery impressed me today

People like you said the same thing in the Euro Cup last year. Portugal came out and won. Portugal has a ton of talent and a ton of good players. They have played exceptionally well and have had quite a few difficult matches. Christiano Ronaldo is in the top 5 of the world. Ricardo is an amazing goaltender and he proved it today. I don't know what you have against Portugal that makes your mind become retarded when talking about it, but you should look at the facts. Portugal is where they are because they deserve it.
 
Dude get over yourself, first off the euro cup was 2 years ago. In that time players age, Figo is now like 40 and is starting to play like a 40 year old too. And I used to like Portugal, I wanted them to win the Euro when it got to the semis. But watching them play this tournament made me want to shit and vomit simoutaneously. They played like talentless cheaters. The only players I still have respect for on that team are Maniche(awesome guy) and Ricardo(he was outstanding). I used to truly admire Deco also but now he sorta came down a notch in my opinion. As for the rest they are mostly all rats who I hope get a proper ass wipping from Viera and company. I REALLY want Figo to get bitched slapped.

Ronaldo top 5? You mean divers right? You cant possibly be serious in saying he is in the 5 most talented players in the world. you're ridiculous.

You should look at the facts, better yet, just watch some soccer more than a month every 4 years.
 
^ Haha, Ronaldo is definitly not the top 5, you're right. If you rated players on how fast they run to the corner and how many times they cross the ball or just pass it off right then, then he'd be top 5.

Maybe you should prove it instead of saying I don't like Portugal all they do is dive *insert crying noise here*. Portugal played well. They continously set up oppourtunites and then regained possession. Portugal dives no more than anyone else. You should wtach soccer, because obviously you are not seeing Italy and Ghana play. Face it buddy, every team is diving. Maybe if YOU watched soccer you would understand that.

Wow 2 whole years? That's such a long time to age. France has a lot of the same team from '98 that's 8 years.

By the way, Maniche dove a lot more than C. Ronaldo. Oh wait, I am so stupid for saying C. Ronaldo is one of the top 5 players. Man I am just rediculous. That's why he is tied for 3rd most goals in the world cup this year.

Let's see he plays for the best team in England and argueably the world.
 
^ Dude Italy is the king of diving and when they play Ghana (a very agressive team), it's going to have more diving than a fucking swim meet.
 
Dude, I was just explaining why I wasnt particularly happy of Portugal getting into the semis. And yes you're right, all teams take dives regardless of nationality, it seems to have been instilled in how soccer is player. I personnaly disliked the way Portugal played, but we cant get around that whatever. I hope they have a better match agaisnt France as they will now be full strenght and that it will be a wonderful game, this world cup has been lacking them.

And buddy, C. Ronaldo is not tied for third at all...dont know where you came up with that?? He has 1 goal this tournament....Maniche is Portugal's top scorer with 2 goals(did you get the 2 confused?)

And for all that it's worth(not very much) he wants to be traded from Manchester(probably because they no longer are anywhere close to best team in the world anymore)
 
Zidane is a man beast. and Barthez is my boy. France played a good game (well, brazil did too) and i thought the refs were pretty good. Henry was in exactly the right position with that kick...beautiful. Vive La France!

does ronaldinho come off as lazy or too good to try with everything hes got to anyone else...dont get me wrong hes very good but it just seems like he doesnt have the drive to get the ball and make it happen he rather ve set up by his team

while i agree that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the top players in the world, i dont think top five, and i fuckin hate that he dives as much as he does. hes so good, that he shouldnt have to. Maniche, on the other hand, should be on the swim team for the olympics, not anywhere near a soccer pitch.

Plus, its lame that international stars embellish as much as they do. I do realize that a free kick at that level, (especially near the 18 yard-box) is a huge advantage, it doesnt feel honorable to me. Diving is a great way to wreck "the beautiful game". As soon as it comes to the point where they have to use play by plays and video review to call the game, its ruined.
 
France is my team. they had a pretty rocky start in the beginning, but they are doing good. especially beating a powerhouse team like Brazil. they will beat Portugal. i just know it. it is going to be a France-Germany final. Italy is really good, but Germany this year is amazing. Klose is a beast. and Germany needs to put Oliver Kahn in goal. Jens Lehman is good, but Oliver is the man and i wanna see him.

Germany will win if that happens because France has never beaten Germany at anything, but I hope Portugal wins because C. Ronaldo is a badass
