They did control the game and they should've won. the germans took out their goaly and they played for the PK because argentina didnt have their #1goaly. The dive by bollock shoulda been a yellow card and half of those fouls no way deserved a card.
 
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....argentina is out..........BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....ah well.extremly well played game on both sides...only shitty thing was Ballacks bitching throughout th extra time and "could barley walk) then when penalties come around he is running all over the place and scoring goals like no ones buissness...oh well...hopefully Italy and Ukraine will be a good game aswell.
 
but no goals came from those occasions IF they were mistakes, so the ref didn't win or lose the game to argentina.

i agree argentina SHOULD have won given their domination, but they didn't convert.
 
argentina played like absolute crap for a the ten minutes up until germany scored. if they could have kept their composure i think they would have won. i was rooting for them, but at least it was a good game.
 
yea argentina vs germany game was really exciting some of the calls were in germany's favor but what are u gonna do good game tho
 
Italy played an amazing game...it could of been 5 nill with luca's and Franchesco's chances at the end... but still..outstanding game by the Italians./.....BUFFON OWNED THAT GAME
 
buffon's amazing. Man i can't wait till zidane and henry make brazil wake up and realize they're not invincible. Ok maybe that wont happen but itd be awesome.
 
portugal has the hardest road by far.............they had to beat holland to play england if they win they have to play the winner of brazil and france and if they win that they play germany(no offence italy isnt going to win) thats a hard road though compared to fucking italy who had to beat austraila and ukraine
 
i don't really care who wins that much as long as it isn't italy. There a bunch of diving whining bitches. they only got past australia b/c of a dive.

I dont Italy is Germany's dark horse for sure. I agree Germany have been playing much more solid the whole tournament, it's just that Italy has never lost to Germany in the world cup. Also, their was a friendly match between the two like during the month preceding the WC, Italy won like 4-1. Should be a solid match.
 
Ricardo was fuckin dope though, ill give them that, and i dont like ronaldo because he dives so much, but that pk was perfect
 
Hey, as long as I wouldnt end up watching portugal play, id be ok with it. That game was a crime, I cant imagine how either of those 2 teams got so far in the tournament. Props to England for playing like they did a man down for almost an hour. I think that was probably their best display of the whole world cup. As for Portugal, I really hope they get demolished in the semis, they simply dont belong there. It makes me feel sorry that a great team like Argentina got knocked out while these guys are still on the pitch..
 
yea, i agree. but its all in the draw. argentina was deffinetly equal to germany, if not better. england just was stupid playing without two forwards
