Hard to tell, but Brazil and Argentina are the top on my list to take the Cup as they are both huge contenders. Haven't seen England play yet but I imagine they can't be counted out of it just yet, especially with Rooney back into the starting line up.
Brazil isn't really playing as well as I expected or as well as I think they can...they just need to be put against a team that will actually challenge them and then we can see them really play. the czech republic was rated second, but after that loss to ghana i'm not so sure they're gonna do so well....my vote's for ghana or the ivory coast haha just cuz i'd like to see them win
I haven't seen Brazil play this bad since their 1998 final game. They have not been dominating against easy teams and they have not been able to clearly hold posession and set up scoring oppourtunities. They have basically just let Ronaldinho or Robinho make all the plays for them. Kaka needs to be set up more off of corner kicks and Ronaldinho needs to get a hold of himself on free kicks.
i disagree. ghana definitly has the best shot out of any african nation and i think that they could beat the US for sure. they are so much faster than the US and i think that it will come as a shock becasue the US are used to being faster than the other teams they play.
Dude with that ball knuckling like that, and a volley that powerful from that far out... trust me that was not an easy save to make. The only way would have been if he had better positioning prior to the shot. Since he cannot predict the future, it was just an amazing shot and went in.
as an englishman im dissapointed, we seemed to play well in the 1st half and lose all concentration in the 2nd, with the last goal by sweden overcoming non existant defending
i was really hoping for an english win since both teams are already in the second round. and england had to go and disappoint with a defensive breakdown. at least it wasn't a loss.
yeah coles volley was amazing! such a great goal.. but sweden owned the second half, to bad our defence sucks big time! but fortunatly we made it 2-2 so the streak of being unbeaten against england lives on
