both the sports american football and soccer are desendents of games played by peasents in medevil europe that were played on foot instead of on horses like the games played by aristocrats. this is why they both bear the name football as well as a few more games like rugby and austrailian rules football.

trinidad needs to whup parguays ass buy like 8 goals and sweden needs to lose to england and not score so the tnt can advance
 
T&T need to win 2-0 and Sweeden to lose without scoring to go through but ENGLAND won the group which is the most important thing ever to have happened in germany so far.

If Rooney plays, england will go deep but they wont win. As for brazil, they are great and all but their star players are aging, maybe 3rd or fourth.

Germany, no King Khan, no way.

Italy and france havent played that well. Spain has good scoring potential, but I dont like their defence as much as other teams. I think the czechs if they get their heads screwed on right, have the offensive flair, dynamic goaltending and saavy defence to win the entire tournament. Koller's injury wasnt as bad as thought, and Nedved is at the top of his game, and dont forget about an emerging Ruzicky(sp).

What the hell happenned to turkey, ireland and greece? It's strange isnt it, a few years ago who would have thought that these teams wouldnt even qualify.
 
i dont think swedan is playing weel at all this year...they are all over the place and their strikers cant seem to get all that good touches on the ball....hopefully the US. and Italy game will be dope on Sat.

I thought England were very unlucky with all the chances we had, However the dissalowed goal was fairly lucky. Now Trinidad and Tobago are a really good defensive team who proved that against sweden.

England also has a reputation for not playing well against weaker teams but stepping it up against the stronger ones like argentina, brazil, germany etc

I also remind you that england only need a draw against sweden to top our group, where you need a win against ecuador to top yours!
 
hahah I like both England and Sweden, but that comment is retarded. Yea sweden is doing GREAT so far this world cup, scoringi 1 goal in 2 games against crappy teams! WOO! England vs Sweden should be a good game. Sweden should be scoring tons of goals, their front line is NASTY with larsson and ibrahimovic and ljunberg

the game sucked!! Holland played terrible only first 20 min were fine. Van nistelrooij was playing terrible again and robben showed also to little. We can al be happy we are to the next round but they def need to change some things quick!
