wow, I had no idea switzerland was very good. I know france isn't as strong as they have been in the past but after watching parts of the game I thought they did well against a team that I would say is stronger than them.
 
Whilst that red card was outrageous, Spain played really well, probably the best so far. I hope Ukraine get through as well, the scoreline was a bit harsh to them.
 
USA SUCKED ASS!!! they arnt ranked 5th cause they suck ass. Austrailia is good this year fiorst time in 23 years that they have made it. Mexico is pretty good also. BUT I want SWEDEN TO WIN!!!! So all you little USA lover fags shove it in your ass!!!
 
actually, they are ranked 5th, because the ranking system is fucked up - if you play enough game, you can beat any team it seems.

US is piss poor, and so are Saudi and Tunisia.
 
i was amazed that the tunisia saudi game was probably the most entertaining game so far in this world cup, tunisia dominated the first half, then saudi came bout as a different teaam in the second completwely hammered tunisia then tunisia scores a quality gaol during stoppage time to tie up the game i thought it was an excelent game from 2 not so excelent teams ( at least the 2nd half)
 
ivory coast all the way, but since that wont happen brazil is really strong but they shoudlnt get too over confident. czech will come close too. germany vs. poland right now i predict germany maybe
 
germany has had most of the chances missing twice from close range by headers both of which should have gone in. end to end stuff mostly. there should be a scoring eruption in the second have and a shit load of yellow cards
 
all i have to say is go holland... they've been coming up short for the past fuckin century, and i think this year is their year.
 
that game was fucking rediculous, and has really pissed me off. thank you germany for somehow not scoring on about a bajillion golden opportunities. they should all be given the gas face.
 
HOLY SHAIZA that was the most hardcore game in the world. especially cause the one polish guy got red carded, if he didnt it would have been 0-0. the goal keeper got a yellow card for keeping the ball too much. wow and they scored in the 91st minute. im angry that was hardcore. wow, they shouldnt have scored. and liek hell so many opeprtunities before for the germans to score too
 
dude shut the fuck up, how can u not root for the country that u fuckin live in?? the game against the czechs was not how they had played at all leading up to the cup, it was prolly the worst that group has ever played, and it came at an awful time against a great team, look for the real u.s. team to show up from here on out

o and, how the fuck are we "little USA lover fags" when we'r rooting for the our fuckin home country??
 
there seems to be alot flying around arena's open scolding of some players. id like to know the whole story behind this and the supposedly had a heated practice this morning. i cant wait till july 17th. but my heritage full italian. so its really a win win, but of course im rooting US all the way (if possible that is)
 
i would never root for the US! come on half the country doesnt even watch soccer! maybe if we actually liked and respected soccer players I would root on my home team, but fuck that cause they suck . SPAIN!!!!!
 
isnt half the country not watching soccer even more reason to have another american behind thier countrymen? and the way foreigners speak about america, isnt something that less than the majority likes a good thing?
 
I have to agree...man if Canada were in the world cup I wouldnt even consider rooting for anyone else, even if they had no chance.
 
the U.S. is gonna need their big players to step up and do what they have been doing before the cup, i think it was a good idea for Arena to call out his players for being lazy and not playing to their full potential, as a team they cannot just sit back and put in half effort, when you are up agianst teams like czech and italy this weekend, you need the best from everyone. brazil looked good but ronaldo is getting fat and being a lazy bitch, not impressed, adriano wasnt as powerful as i hoped he would be. the only team that i am impressed with so far is ecuador. they absolutly outplayed poland and took it back to the basics, making crisp passes and making simple but effective runs. spain looked good but also got some good calls in their favor, hopefully they dont fall off. australia looked really strong and so did south korea, i am looking for south korea to be the sleeper this year, they are so quick and just make things happen faster than any team can play with. mexico got a lucky goal or two against iran and i hope iran can pull out a couple wins against portugal and angola to move on, they are a really good team that should do some damage. Overall after seeing all the teams play i would say that brazil needs to step up and play the way they can play and have fun, if they do that they will be fine, the U.S. is going to have to play amazing ball from here on out in order to have a shot at it, Germany is looking good and their coach is making really good choices with his subs and style of play, i expect them to make it far, and england is my last choice to make it far simply becuase none of the other teams in their group are playing good solid soccer. I expect Brazil in the final againtst Argentina hopefully, that game would be so out of control, but its too early to really tell, just what i want to see
 
I was very very impressed with how poland played. its too bad they played like shit their first game so advancing is a long shot for them. I think the game would have ended in a tie if it wern't for that red card

american football has pretty much nothing to do with you feet.

i think that you guys should switch the names.

soccer-a sport where guys in pads kick the shit out off each other, while unning from one end of the field to the other

All I have to say is that was the most intense last 10 minutes in the Germany game that I have ever seen.
 
i know they are ranked 5th but thats because they qualify easy treams in canada and small teams that dont play internationaly. USA just sucks a soccer but they are getting better but not this year.
