Watching the game yesterday between Ghana and Italy reminded me why i hate the Italian team so much... suuuuuuch drama queenes... Guy gets tackled and acts like his career is over, and two minutes later he outruns a defended to score a goal... that and he got a yellow card for throwing the ball into the stands when there was a freekick for Ghana... I hate that...

I love the Portugal game, such nice playing, should have been more goals than there were.

Now it's France vs Swiss... if the french lose it they will never live it down.
 
Brasil has a very strong offense.(The Rs)

Germany has the best goalie in the world

Czech Republic is very strong, But we have to see yet, cuz the us team isn't much of a competion.
 
ronaldo and ronaldinho arent the only offensive threats for Brazil, Adriano is one of the best forwards in the world.

Germany's goalie is a pussy, they should play Oliver Kahn instead.

The Czechs are uber good, and the US is good competition they just played like shit.

The swiss should have just scored but couldn't finish on a perfect pass. I just wanna see Brazil dominate this afternoon.
 
YES!!! My opinion on the italian team exactly, they have skill but no balls whatsoever, they should get penalized everytime they act stupid like that.
 
Naw dude, that's great though because they where up against one of the most agressive teams. It was nice to see them get their asses beat physically.

France were pretty bad, Switzerland had the best chances and could easily have won.

The French are going to have to change something pretty massive if they're going to be a threat for the cup.

The ref was really card happy as well, 8 yellows!!

Brazil look a bit off I reckon, Ronaldo has barely done anything all half and some of the other players aren't on form.

Ronaldinho is working hard and playing well though and that Kaka goal was wicked.
 
Ronaldo is being a lazy piece of shit. Other than that, Brazil is playing pretty good I'd say. Just wait until the second half and remember that this is just the game opener, they aren't going to go all out.
 
I hate to tell you, but EVERY team is a bunch of drama queens. This is the only thing I absolutely despise about soccer. Every call someone goes down on the ground for 5 seconds and gets up after the whistle is blown. It's what gives the sport a bad name.

Anyway, the Italy-Ghana game was probably the best one I have seen so far. Very intense and very close until that fluke goal at the end.

Whoever said the US just has work ethic and offsides trap obviously does not know a lot about soccer.
 
prso came super close to scoring just now. damn, itd be nice to see croatia and brazil tied in the 50th minute and have a really good game
 
When I was working in Italy, i asked my coworkers about this. Apparently it's not just to try and get penalties, it's to add extra time.. if they didn't go down, they wouldn't add it.

But, the fans buy it too..
 
the commentators added something i was thinking as well. the game showed brazil can be beaten, and its they are not unstoppable. man i hope the US can beat italy. itd be great. but either way im rootin for italy if the US doesnt get through.
 
Robinho was way better than Ronaldo, I agree with you about it just being their opener. I think that when they step up the pace that brazil will be insane. If they're in the mood Japan or Australia could be torn apart, neither of them looked as good as Croatia.

Ohh shit did u see the analysis about ronaldo. He barely walked. He wasnt mobile at all, didnt do any tactical movements. I hope i was coz of the weather coz otherwise its gonna get interested.

But a good point to know, is that Brasil is beatable!!
 
Yeah but dude, look where it was from. It was like 20 yeards passed the top of the arch and he didn't miss by much. That's pretty damn good if you ask me.
 
im pretty sure he doesnt, Robinho plays forward, but yea i kinda agree i dont think Carlos is that good of a defender, hes lethal from like 30 yards out tho

You obviously didnt watch the game - Australia DOMINATED the whole way. The goal scored against us should have been dis-allowed because the keeper was fouled. Even the Ref apologished after the match for not makeing the right call

watch one game and if you dont think different youre retarded, it is soooo much more physical than youd think, people are gettin hurt all the time, the tackles are intense, theres no way you can call it a puss sport.
 
Brazil for sure. Ronaldihno is the shit but he's been playing terrible lately. He'll step it up though and then they're gonna kill and it will be fantastic.
 
here my evaluation. germany played well....... argentina played good..........holland played very good. and so did the czech republic. brazil although talented, will not win the cup, even though they are very skilled. and for the us, if they could be creative and have some fucking teamwork, they could do well. but this year they will suck unfortunatly because im rooitng for them. so far, i say its between netherlands, brazil argentina germany, and thats it. England is solid but they ownt take it.

Naah,I don't think South Korea will get as far as they did four years ago.Switzerlad may get far.
 
Yesterday all games were kind of boring.

But I think the heat right now is killing them.

I hope all teams improve for the second groupgames!
