The big guy was koller, but it looks like he's fucked his hamstring.

The second goal was wicked, the U.S, aren't actually that bad though, perhaps a bit unlucky to be 2 down.
 
the US played terrible, i think things would have been a bit different if reyna's shot that hit the post around 30 min in would have changed things a bit.
 
usa sucks at soccer. that game was so boring, why dont they do something interesting ever
 
wow, italy is playing so dirty, i hope ghana wins, they have had some great oppurtunities to score but havn't...and it would help the US
 
yeah 2 bs calls, which now lookin at the score woulda been tied cause they woulda both been pk's n ghana prolly wouldnt have missed

anyway, hands down best game of the world cup so far...immense action, tons of shots, and a lot of real good saves.

Bravo to Kingson he basically denied Italy better than any keeper I have seen in a while.
 
He had some amazing saves no doubt, but I think the highlight would be Ghana elbowing Italy like a mother fucker. The last few minutes of the game was the best elbow where the Ghana player just leveled the guy in the chest when the ref's back was turned.
 
quit honestly...FUCK THE US...i want to see them the first ones out of the world cup...i am so glad that they got rapped their first game..."oh no US is going to kill, they can hold up against anyone"...yeh...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
 
thank you fucking god....i had a conversation with a few people about this a couple of weeks ago and like 5 of them went crazy on me telling me i am wrong and US is goingt o kill...and that they could beat any of the eupore teams including ITaly, Argentina, Holland, etc...and i was like...ok...sure they can
 
and when did i say ANYTHING about Canada soccer??? yeh we have one of the worst teams ever...at least i can admit it...plus even if we did i wouldnt be that much into them...but yeh i never said anything about Canada so that is completly insignificant...

The US WILL beat Italy

They WILL beat the Netherlands if they play them

Look, the US is by no means the best team. They probably are ranked higher than they should be (5), but they are definately a good team and no one can take it away from them. They have a ton of experience and just remember it takes a lot of losing to get the wins.

The game against the Czech was a hard game. The Czech's were ranked #2 and the US got unlucky. The possession was 57% US. Yes, the Czhech outplayed them, but not 3-0. Just watch, the US will beat Italy.
 
After watching the game today, I'm just set to believe that we are just good enough to make it into the World Cup, that's it.
 
no i ment Europe teams...AND teams LIKE argentina...but yeh i see what u are saying and us does have a descent team...but i just dont think they are at the level that teams like Holland and Italy are at...(and Brazil,portugal,etc)

and i will be EXTREMLY surprised if us beats Italy but it is possible so i will keep my mouth shut about that until Full time is called on that one...
 
IMO- Italy really isn't that good this year. Holland hasn't been good since 1998.

Portugal is about dead even with the US right now. Portugal is a real roller coaster team. They have amazing days where they can beat any team in the world, and then they have days where they can lose to anyone in the world.

Basically the US is screwed, we SHOULD beat Italy and I am very confident we will, but the killer is that we can pretty much only get 2nd in our group. This would mean we have to play the winner of group F...in this case it's Brazil. Brazil is basically a juggernaut of a soccer team. The US can beat them, but they all have to play the best game of their lives.
 
how can the USA expect to win if all they do is play through balls. they need to keep more possesion and build up the attack instead of just fucking kicking the ball to donovan up front in the air. play them at there feet with the ball on the ground for christ sake
