Official World Cup Thread

This is going to be a huge game tomorrow, seeing how my city is made up of alot of Italians, and being in Canada theres a bunch of French.

My alligence is with France, they need this. Only months ago Paris was in flames over religious and socieo-economic tensions. Maybe a World Cup victory will help them realize that they are a country united.

can't believe zidan just got himself a red card. how could you go out like that, especially when your team is probably going to need you for penalty kicks in a minute? i wonder what that guy said to him to piss him off so bad though. stupid.

That's just not true, they played amazing agaisnt Germany. And you think France played well in this tournament? Youre an idiot. And is that really your main concern of Italy winning, cuz some guy is gonna be happy about it? You have self-esteem problems. Besides, you probably would have gotten in some Italian kid's face had they lost, douchebag
 
It was a fucking horrible match, although did find the first half and start of the second super intense. After that I think France dominated and Italy played horribly. Honnestly, Im sorta suprised they didnt get scored on at that point, they defended well I guess. But yeah, Lippi made aweful subs, they were all disgusting. Only players who didnt play horrible were Buffon, Canna, Gattusso and Zambro(he played sub par).

Still wanna know what ticked off Zidane so much... Materrazzi is a douche but you'd think zizou would know better
 
Where the hell do you get off judging my self-esteem? No i dont think France played well in this tourny, i just like their players better. Additionaly I thought that winning the cup might help unite their fractured society (IE the riots in Paris earlier this year). But by all means, continue with your slander and ill advised heuristic assesments, you really know how to read people.
 
One of which was an own goal, and the other was a penalty. Italy deserved it, it would have been wrong for france to win after what zidane did, i feel for the other players, but way to end your career on an all time low.

Then why is it that your main concern of Italy winning is that it will make every Italian go on such an ego trip it will ruin the course of your day. Maybe involving your self-esteem is overly critical, but I'm still in an anxious mood from the match. What you say about France becoming more united due to a victory does have basis and I can see where you're comming from. Especially that the French team is made out of many comming from the same cultures as those who were involved in the riots; it would have been a bright spot in there day I'm sure.

LOL ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME? Zidane is the motherfucking man. Italy's whole team are the ones who are assholes. They made soooo many cheap plays it was rediculuos and the ref didnt do a god damn thing. The ref ruined the game in my opinion. All italy did was play like 8 man defense and if they got beat on d, they would just all dive at the attackers legs and pray they didnt get a call.

This has been the worst referring I have ever fucking seen.
 
I'm so fucking pissed off right now. Italy fucking sucks dick. I mean FFS, the USA fucking tied them. That game was rediculous too. Every motherfucking italian player was whining the whole game against USA and playing as cheaply as possible. And now this.

FUCK THE REFEREE FAGGOT. I HONESTLY THINK HE WAS CALLING THE GAME IN ITALIANS FAVOR THE WHOLE TIME.

SORRY FOR ALL THE F-words, but Im really disgusted right now.
