I used to know all the spots atSunday River to puff. That place used to be so much fun on storm days. We'd puff all the way up from Portland, driving easy on 35 and other various back roads. Then, we'd go in Barker lodge, get dressed, eat, hang out for like 1/2 an hour and get on the quad, or the triple if the quad was swamped.
Take a couple fun, cold runs, then head straight for Lazy River(used to be the place to go). Thre was a spot where someone built a big old hut and ski patrol would put trash bags an shit.
When the snow piled up, you could ski right off the roof of the hut and never know it. There was always people there.
Sometimes I'd find myself, 17 or 18, sitting under the hut puffing with a SR Ambassador, 3 random kids from Mass., and a couple 30 year olds from New Gloucester. It was great.
We also had some random spots in the woods off....Lollapalooza, of course in the glades in Oz, when that area was new, and off the back of Bim's Whim.
