*Official Tyrol Basin Pre-Season 2009 Thread*

Lesh is awesome He used to go to my highschool. He was working on all of his un-natty tricks today which I thought was sick. Hopefully We'll be graced by his presence another time this year!

Oh and everybody was throwing down today everywhere I looked I saw some banger trick. Got me super stoked.

p.s. any one else thinking about ordering up some first drop outerwear now after seeing it in person? I know I'd like to get some!
 
Conner knows what's up... Lesh was working on stuff he isn't real good at. And we also decided that mailbow must bemade out of some cheaper, softer metal... Sometimes it just wanted to grab your skis. And if I had the money I'd order some black bibs.

But it was a great weekend of shredding. My body hates me and I'm running out of ibuprofen, but I couldn't be happier! :).... Epic culvers sessions too haha
 
dude i couldn't make it this past weekend to see what was being thrown, but Lesh kills rails. I used to ride with him when i lived in CO and his bag of tricks is deeeeeep
 
im really pumped for tomorrow night (tuesday)...first night sesh of the year, and hopefully a tow cable...who's going????

It was nice to see so many people on the snow on Saturday
and Sunday!! With this past weekend's opening we are entering our normal early season
schedule which means Tues 4-9, Fri 4-9, Sat 9-9 & Sun 9-5. On Tues night we will have
our Trollway terrain park open and "hope" to have the cable tow operating. It all depends
on how cold it gets tonight and snowmaking. After tonight, we will begin to concentrate
snowmaking on Tobel with "hopes" of having the chairlift and Tobel open on Friday or
Saturday. Keep checking the snow report for updates throughout the week.
 
I hope I can go this weekend- so stoked there is actually skiing available withing an hour of my house, im starting to think snow doesn't even exist in iowa
 
I can't make it out tomorrow... But I should be there friday and saturday. Hopefully the cable table tow is open by friday (it should be) and there is a good chance for the lift to be open by Saturday! See you guys then.
 
Can't make it out on Thursday. But I will definitely be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I hope I can ski with you guys. I met Twenty2 and Youngcrabgrass, but didn't hit anything with you guys. I was busy sucking it up on the box over the weekend.

Yeah it's annoying as shit.

Annnnnnd it's snowing. + Tyrol is blowing a lot. SO pumped for tomorrow and the weekend.
 
im almost positive im getting the blue first drop this month. i think i will be at tyrol saturday or sunday depending when alpine opens. hopefully the towrope will be open too. any word on that?
 
I just checked their webcam and they are blowing snow.

It looks as if Tobel's will be open friday or saturday with a chairlift because the whole hill is covered.

I was able to get Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays off. Then I work every other weekend. So I'll still get enough in.
