*Official Tyrol Basin Pre-Season 2009 Thread*

YEAH BOI I'LL BE THERE, but snowboarding cuz I don't have ski boots yet :(. Ill be wearing tan cargo snowpants and have a bern baker with a les moise sticker on it
 
i'll be there sunday, not sure what im wearing yet. probs a purple jacket, black pants and a white helmet with a thug rabbit on the side
 
So stoked!!! Not sure what im about to wear... maybe layered black and turquoise tall tees with an oakley jersey on top? and my huge grey snowpants and Alpha 1's... I might look scary but I'm friendly dont worry ; ]

I'll be there sunday wearing a grey sweatshirt, black snow pants, and ar6's, it'll be my first time at tyrol so can't wait. im gunna be helpin my friend learn how to grind since he just got skis, and this is his first year into freeskiing. Stoked to shred with u guys.
 
it looks packed to shit if you look at the snow cam, obviously its still worth it, but damn thats a lot of people on that patch of snow.
 
It was busy as fuck. At 12.30 there were 150+ people there. Took a while go actually get a run in.

They have a big-ish corrugated tube, 2 rails, a wide flat box. a regular flat box, and then some kids built some jumps on the side. Pretty decent set-up for pre-season, I guess.

It's going to be difficult to teach someone how to do rails, unless they change some stuff up. Besides the small/wide flat box, you have to jump to get on everything.

And Channel 27 was filming there, so check that out tonight (probably at 6).
 
yeah, i kind of figured it might be hard for him since he's beginning, but actually he bailed out of going, so its just gunna be me tomarrow, so hope to hang with some of u ns'ers cause im not going to know anyone.
 
yea tyrol such a fun day! everyone send vibes to simon big air montgomery and his twisted knee.
also, trevor, you have to wear a different outfit tomorrow. One that is equally as awesome as the one today.
 
Yeah, super fun day! Everyone was killing it. Felt great to be back on skis. I had the cotton candy steeze going on... teal-ish blue pants with a pink tall tee.
We got a bunch of footy on Twenty2's camera so an edit will be droppin' soon.
 
hahaha thanks for the shirt props guys...i've decided, because of the love for the shirt...to make another one in the coming months

and also i will be un-able to shred tomorrow because of homework and work....FUCK THAT SHIT, right?
i'll be up-n-att'm next weekend though with a vengeance and tuesday if they open
 
yeah guys it was so fun today. besides it being so packed. they said theyre going to try and set up the small dfd rail, (which would be sick as fuck) for tomorrow. hopefully well see everyone there again tomorrow!

 
SUCH a good day today! everybody was straight murdering the set-up! I was rocking huge grey pants, turquoise tall tee, sunglasses and alpha 1's. tomorrow is hesh day so just look for the alpha 1's and my huge smile with uber hesh-ness. bout to be awesome!!!! :D
 
Channel 27 is worthless. They took a few vids of me hitting the box, and some of other skiers, but only used 2 clips on there segment earlier. But I was in the backdrop in one shot haha.
 
Yeah, that was really fun, even though I was there by myself and did not know anyone. Just wondering, was anyone from Sunburst there? Cause this is my first year with a season pass and its to sunburst so I wanna know who I'm gunna be shredding with this year, besides my few school buddies who aren't very good yet.
 
dude but David Lesh is the man...he train jumps, he's tunneled under Madison, he lived in India for 6 years of his life, he's good at photography, he started an outerwear company by himself in like 6 months, ANNNND he's from wisconsin
