I figured this could benefit everyone. So if anyone has any questions hopefully we can get them answered :D

I'll kick it off, frontside boardslide, I always end up shooting out and landing on my face, any suggestions? should I be locking the board under my front binding or lock in between both bindings?

it depends on how your bindings are setup, if your dead center than yes, you want to lock in between both and give a little bit of pressure and keep your weight centered , but it all depends of the type of rail/box

on a normal flat box/rail I can do it decent, there still pretty bad, not steezed out at all. I only shoot out on down rails/kinks

this has nothing to do with the thread

but you know what sucks when ur going backside on a like a dfd and on going into the flat part u catch ur edge and nail ur ass/tailbone. goddamn that hurts

wouldnt you smash your face if you caught your edge?

You said going into the flat part, so your talking about the down to flat kink right?

if you catch your edge, you get launched onto your face, shoulders, and it sucks.

^ ya thats a frontside board

you gotta just commit and lean farther back than you think you should...then youll stay centered. and look over your leading shoulder all the time if youre just learning them...then you stay more balanced and can see where youre going/the end of the rail

ive got question:

why can i never go uncorked. i always can get to a nice corked 5, but i land backseat all the time....

^ i find it easiest to do it out of a tail slide if that helps. but other than that, i just focus on looking over my shoulder.

Twist your upper body as you slide so at the end of the box you have all of the tourqe stored in your upper body... then you just jump, uncoil with your hips and look towards the spin.

Do you have any way to get to a pool? I got into diving for a year in high school just so i could use the pool to throw some corked out stuff. I used to get wicked low scores because i would accidently grab when doing flips like on the tramp.

Tramps, pools, and powder.

Sometimes just wait for a soft enough day and you can huck shit. If your corking stuff it might not be the best idea, alot of crooked landings arent fun.

na i cant really acess teh pool...and theres no pow/bc on the eastcoast to learn it haah funny thought...pow on the eastcoast

k whenever i go front blunt on, then try to switch up then sameway 270 off, i can NEVER get the switchup. i have no idea why. i can do it on boxes so easily, but just not on rails.

turn your shoulders right when you get on the rail/before you get on. then youll automaticaly want to jump and land in a reg boardslide. just keep looking over your shoulder throughout the entire slide.

for a frontboard, i come up ollie off a flat base lock it right below my front foot and have my eyes fixed on the end of the feature with my shoulders turned and ready to pop off and ride away clean!

Update. I learned frontsides completely blind and there scary as shit on bigger things haha, now Im working on 270's out. Tips?

Anyone got advice on pressure flips? I feel like they would be super easy just kind of scary, and I don't quite get how I would set my body for the rotation

when you go to switchup try popping a mini ollie with your back foot. so basically almost go too far on the blunt and pop back on the switchup if that makes sense.

Does anybody know how to help doing frontside spins off of their toes? I think they look really cool, although maybe I should learn frontside spins off my heels first?
