from the look of him he just looked like some kid that didnt really know what he was doing. If im not mistake i was the snowboarder who yelled down to you saying that he had overshot the jump.. ill be there friday with my skiis btw
 
i know some of the ski patrols and they were told 2 broken wrists, severe concussion, broken back and a fractured skull. i was standing on the knuckle closing off the jump and i could hear him screaming from there. suuuucks for him
 
That is really shitty... on another note did anyone see the little kids go off the jump through the X'ed of polls.

Good reason to make Tremblant all park pass.
 
that accident with that kid sounds awful, i hope he's alright.

On a side note i went uup today and it was pretty good. None of my friends ski park so i only got a couple laps in but everything looked decent. I was dissapointed with the lack of rail features on the northside but there hasnt been much so its very understandable.

All in all good day except for me loosing my wallet and phone....FUUCCKK
 
haha ya i was on the knuckle telling them to turn away when they ripped through. on kid backslapped when he landed and barely avoided hitting the injured kid. talked with their dad when he came riding behind and he was just some clueless guy didnt even understand what they did wrong
 
Yeah $15 and you get them at " Chalet de Voyageur" at Customer service. When you are at the bottom of the mini gondala that takes you to the real lifts from the parking lot it is the building on the right that is white with a black roof.

Jesus, that is fucking awesome. Jumps are on another level for sure. Stoked on that stair set too!

I'm going to be in Tremblant from the 4th to the 7th. I'll most likely be ripping groomers with my friends but I might buy a park pass.
 
no offence dude but i think your measurements are a little off. None of those jumps were more than 60ft, and i think 60 is even pushing it a little. 55ft maybe? but other than that the jumps are soooo much fun, first jump is so mellow, second's lip is awesome and shoots you sooooo high, and the thirds knuckle is death so dont case haha. Wasnt very impressed with the jibs but im sure they will get better later in the season. Cant wait till this park in the spring
 
I'm off about 5 ft on each according to the park crew:

1st 55ft from lip to end of knuckle

2nd 50ft,

3rd 65ft, but they are going to change up the landing supposedly and make it more smooth instead of flat then right to steep to avoid those gnarly cases, making the jump smaller.

We have a small jib line beside the jumps along with a few side hits on the top portion.

North Park has a full update that I will get some photos this weekend but it's a line of a: jump, then like a big up box, then a choice of either a flat-down or battleship box. After that you got a line of 3 jumps. Still Southside is where it is at.
 
I went the first week of the winter semester. Park wasn't as i good as i hoped it would be. It looks so sick now!
 
Update:

New down box, half-ass urban on, about 25 feet long.

DFD rail, urban on, 15 feet ish.

New smaller take offs on all three jumps, probably like 30, 35, 40 feet ish.

trick claim : landed my first backflip ever over the first jump at the south parc. Feels so good to be upside down in the air for so long

haha too sick, but i didnt have mine on film. decided to go for it after the go pro went down the jump line for a buddys edit
 
wow the south parc jumps are huggggggggge now. couldnt ride them yesterday cause the conditions were so windy, but god there perfect.
 
yeah i went up yesterday and saw that they had the largest kickers closed in the southpark. they reshaped em and they are DISCUSTINGLY MONSTROUS! scary big
