Normally I hate football but my friend said it was trippy as hell to watch after blazing so we watched it. Went through a mountain of nachos, huge bottle of mountain dew, and yeah was good times

But the Pats played a good season, the bowl just goes to show that noone is perfect.
 
You're retarded. I watch American football once a year and even I could tell you the Pats o-line is shit. That is the main reason they lost.

and tom brady is still not the best. Montana= 4 super bowls, Brady= 3 Super Bowls

I still have not recovered from this such a reality check after they have dominated and the red sox won another world series
 
a QB like tom brady can not simply break records without an incredible O-line. they played like shit last night, but clearly you missed most of there other 18 games. there is a reason the pats went 16-0 on the season.

Anyone else notice that the game was PAINFULLY boring. I ran out of beer trying to make it interesting. I was drinking tequila from the bottle not to have a good time, but to null my discontent for what was probably one of the worst games of the playoffs. I was waiting for the pathetic thing to be over with so I could just go fuck my girlfriend. Both teams played like shit and I couldnt have been more disinterested. I almost puked when they gave Manning the MVP; I pretty much deserved it as much as he did. Apart from that one drive at the end, it was not worth the damage I did to my liver.
 
wtf? i don't even know where the fuck to start. the media is saying this might be one of the greatest super bowls of all time. it was a fucking nail biter to the end. not every game needs to be a final score like 38-35 to be great to watch. your probably just some ignorant fuck who needs a few beers to fuck his horse ugly girlfriend. if you don't watch football, then don't fucking post in here because no one agrees with you. manning played pretty fucking good. he threw that one interception but it wasn't entirely his fault. he had long drives down the field making key plays and such. the giants defense was explosive and just shit on brady for the pretty much the whole game. and quite frankly, i bet not one of the 100,000 members on this site care about your liver, so save that complaining for your fugly girlfriend.

A bar. During the fucking Superbowl. Arent I super original and awesome?! Clearly we were the only one's to have been brilliant enough to have thought of it.

Anyways, I was clearly not looking for an argument in saying that I thought the game could of been more exciting. I'm sure it's cool beans that your team won; but I'm more curious to know from people who didnt have a particular interest in either of the teams if they still enjoyed the game. Was nothing compared to the GB-NY game 2 weeks ago. I was rooting for GB and I still had a blast watching that one.
 
Well then I suggest you go on NFL.com and purchase the rest of the patriots 16-0 regular season. The Giants have an awesome defense with a huge and fast defensive line. The Giants also threw some crazy blitz packages throughout the entire game. They basically beat down the patriots offensive line the entire game. The giants did have to sacrifice some over the over the middle plays to Welker and Faulk for this though. But towards the end of the game the pocket started collapsing faster and faster. When a quarterback takes a 3-4 step drop and is not touched for 8-9 seconds... that is not his doing. Thats basically like you catching with your dad in your back yard. Throughout the entire season, Tom Brady only had to worry about 1 thing... Tom Brady. He drops back, and only has to look at his receivers. He was hardly ever pressured. And when he was, his performance was above average, nothing amazing stellar though.

You could put quarterbacks like Cutler, Roethlisberger, Manning, Farve or Palmer in there with that line and they would perform extremely well too. I'm not putting Brady in a shitty QB category. I'm just saying that nobody gives his O-line any credit for his success. Throwing a ball at a moving target is one thing. But throwing one at a moving target with 2 275lbs linebackers on your ass is a totally different story. Not to mention the moving targets are Moss and Welker.
 
And that doesn't even touch on the whole Spygate deal, and knowing defensive package signals. Defenses all year were mentioning how Brady would always seem to be able to call the right audible, whatever package they brought.

Thats not brady though... thank bill belichick for that one.
 
it wasn't tom brady that sucked.. yes he did miss a couple of passes but every quarterback does that. the offensive line blew. if you watch most of the replays the o-line just let the giants d line blow by. and every qb will be bad without help from an offensive line. and manning put together really good drives.

EXACTLY. Giants came close to beating them once before. Anyone that has been paying attention would know that the Giants D-line is powerful.

I'm a Niners and Steelers fan (Dad's a Steelers fan mom's a niners fan) But damn its great to see the Pats choke their season

everyone that said the giants were lucky, thats absolute bullshit. they completely outplayed the pats most of the game, everyone came up huge for the game. the pats didn't play as well as they do, and the giants played great.

and for that kid that said the game was boring? you have to be shitting me. that was one of the most entertaining games of the postseason. yea the packers game was probably better, but because this was the superbowl, its just that much more amazing.

Giants Secondary had been AWFUL from the beginning of the season to a little past midway. They changed so much after that it was scary.

I live in Boston, but I hate the patriots. Ever since the snow ball that started the years of the league loving them and calls going their way, and I have never been so happy to see a team lose. The looks on all the cocky patriots fans faces brought me back to when I went to the riots in Kenmore Square after the Red Sox won the world series where every drunk patriots asshole was shouting, 19-0, we'll be back here in February. I think the patriots were the underdogs cause they had so much pressure on them. For the Giants, they had already accomplished alot by just getting to the super bowl. Im a Patriots fan but I think the Giants clearly deserved it cause they owned Brady all game long. Even though the defense screwed up in the end.
