I wouldn't say luck...I'd say both teams played hard...for crying out loud it was a 7 - 3 game for most of it...and then it came down to who made the bigger play

the giants had something that no other team that played the patroits really had. A defensive line. The G men have a really good offensive line and got to brady that is why they won

Yes, it really is the Giants fans turn to be cocky and proud...because you know what? they were the underdogs in every single game of the post season...and they did it...all on other teams home fields...taking the meaning out of "home field advantage"...the giants did it.
 
well he did hug coughlin but he's seriouisly known for that. but he should of stayed around and shook some of the players hands like the mvp's. MANNINGGGGGG
 
coughlin was there too. pretty sure everyone thought it was over, they all met at mid field, plus lots of photographers.

I wouldent say the the giants have a good o line. Manning was hurried a lot and on that last drive he ran around and got away with some desperation lobs that would ussually be considered bad decisions.

Awesome win....glad to see the younger Manning pick up a Super Bowl win after he was murdered by all the media, fans, etc his first couple seasons....good game for the Giants
 
what a terrible game that was. exciting in the last few minutes, sure, but damn. pats / panthers was still the best i've ever seen. halftime boob aswell, courtesy of janet jackson. great shit..
 
not a fan of either team, but i was rootin for history to be broken by brady and company, until the end when bellichik(sp) walked to the locker room before the last play. the game was over, but have a little class and sportsmanship, even randy moss stayed on the field till the final whistle. bellichek=giant deuscthbag in my book.

Nice try... Brady is good. I'm not going to say he sucks or anything. But he's not the greatest quarterback of all time. The Patriot's offensive line on the other hand... is one of the best offensive lines of all time. Brady could've taken a nap and at lunch every time he went back to pass. I mean yeah he is a good quarterback, makes good decisions. But given that monster of an O-Line, and a receiving core with the likes of Welker and Moss, there are a good number of QBs in the league that could have put up comparable numbers. Look what happened when the giants started getting pressure on him and putting him on his ass.
