Alright here's the Official Skiing Mix 2002. It started 3 years ago when I listened to songs on the way up to my home mountain or played this when I skied. So it kinda got popular with some locals and now it's a tradition. So here it is.

aww man, shit my car tunes, well my friends cars, he has a tape player haha, well its got sc/dc back in black, twisted sister, tom petty, van morrison, and other assorted tapes found at the salvation army, so that is my car songs haha

dunno why but right now im downloading three quarters of the songs on that list i've never heard of half of the bands either

good choice with the pax217. i posted about them like a year ago, if you like 311, especially the more rap/rock stuff, check them out, pretty similar sound.

well if you think POD sux then don't listen to them. You might like the other bands, ya never know. Yeah Pax217 is a dang good band especially if you like 311. Well hope you guys enjoy.

 
i don't listen to pod. that's my point. from what i've heard 311 sounds good, but i really don't know what kinda music it is or anything.

 
Why is there so much hate surrounding pod? It seems like a lot of ppl will just ignore other bands they dislike but whenever pod comes up theyre like 'oh shit pod sucks.' Is it because theyre sort of a christian band or is it because you just dont like their sound?

yea, i dont like their sound, and i really dont like the lyrics to their songs, for example youth of the nation, and that other one that popular. but i was just stating my opinion for why i dont listen to them...

Ya, I can't stand pod. The sound is just really annoying. And their lyrics, just seem empty to me.

it seems once a song gets mtv play people start to hate on it, cuz they think its for 12 year old girls or sutmthin.. i dont listem to rock, but the same thing goes with the music i listen to

i have that cd some of their stuff is ok but i dunno didnt really like that cd, yea

Well that's cool if you all don't like my music, i mean we all have our own opinions and such. fine, I added a song to that CD. Kutless - In Me. great song. they are a band that song like...well I don't know. check them out. and of course if you have any opinions please post them.

I agree with the two pod songs pumping you up. they are the same for me. I've only heard them a few times, and liked them. except 'youth of the nation'. didn't like that one at all. relient k rocks also. cheers all

well there is no point to get all pissed if somebody doesn't like my music. That's why some action sports atomspheres are jacked up...because somebody doesn't like somebody elses deal...so they whine and complain about it and then people start disliking people and that leads to no respect. Which is what we want right? respect. that's why people's opinions don't bother me

well the question has been asked. 'what's with all the christian music?' well here it goes. for one thing...christian music just so happens to pumpe me up before I go skiing. however, i also listen to christian music because I like to here a positive message in my music. i am a christian and like reading stuff in the Bible. Now I'm not gonna cram stuff down everyone's throat because that's not the way things should be. so if you guys ever want to ask me question on what I believe or anything just e-mail me. but I am grateful for all the people who posted their opinions...thank you for letting me know what you think of my music. this post is getting freakin' long so thanx all.

yeah dude, i dig your music selection, the only thing, is that I thin kyou should really make a mix that has music in it that is based on how much it pumps you up for the sport, not just music that you like to listen to. Like the only song on the news ski mix that pumps me up is P.O.D. Alive.. Sorry Ryan, your still my ski partner,, just do a few more downloads, and work on the new mix a little...

 
Well Josh, nothing ever changes. I'm not trying to impress you or please you. I like to listen to music. Almost all music. but josh, dude I don't like a lot of your music and I asked for feedback for christian songs...which I know isn't your fav. genre. Josh dude I made a skiing mix, not a super-pump you up mix. Whether we're hucking or skiing pow it's skiing so if you want you can make your own mix because you didn't like my mix. peace
