dont crop, select with magic wand tool, bothe the outside black part. then click on pointer tool , the full black one and then press ctrl c and then make a new layer and ctrl v. now you will have a scott logo with see throught the wite part and wont ruin your first layer.
 
that was one hell of a first post. and super sick goggles. I'd buy them. keep that up, You will do well here
 
the only thing is that on the frame, it is just switched instead of different views. like on the first one, the pink is on one side of the nose, and in the second one, it's on the other. don't know if that matters or not
 
Question, did you use someone elses brushes? or did you make them youself. props if you made them yourself.

If you're going to submit your creation, make sure it doesnt violate any copyrights. Scott wants originality, not someone elses brushes on their template..
 
I think that the original artwork was not made by computer. It was probably made with marker pen, aceton pen and a blender.
 
Seriously, I don't like this contest, you will win 750$ of stocks? What's the deal? They will probably send you their samples and they will laugh because they will not have to pay a graphic designer. 750$ of stock... It's like 300$ for them. For me, this contest is before-all marketing.

What ever, it's my opinion.
