I say fuck that, just because someone isn't supposed to be there means you shouldnt help them. Understood for some poor country or something but not the US, the country that proclaims to try to save the world. We don't have the money, but we waste so much and complain we don't have enough to help people out.

Look at Niger, its going to cost 8x more than it would last year to save that country, but we pour more money into Bush's quaqmire, Iraq. Screw that.

actually i do think there should be restrictions on mexican immigration...they shouldn't be allowed to just waltz in with no give-back ability to the community

Canada is giving about 5million$ a year to Africa to fight hunger. That money comes from our taxes. That money is for giving to the poor families in order not to starve.

The thing is organisations against hunger says that its not enough and that a lot of people are dying in Africa. Over the years hunger should had stopped.

well first of all we are nowhere near wrapped up in helping africa...we aren't sending nearly enough that could be sent...like instead of destroying our corn that the government pays farmers to OVERGROW we could send crops to africa...a revolution in mexico? yes it would help but all that is needed there is unification and then maybe they will get somewhere

I have no sympathy for someone who breaks the law. Its not like it was in the 18 hundreds when immirgrants acually made this country better. Africa is worse off than the middle east. So really, there was no reason to go into the middleast i nthe first place. Look at the stats of a country such a Ghana, which is better off than many african countries compared to a country like iran or kuwait. Child mortality and lifespan are much different, not in favour of the africans.

My opinion is that for there to be rich superpowers, there much ab e poor and down trodden. No one will ever be equally prosperous simply because of human nature. It is human nature to be greedy and it seems to be a prime characteristic of the white man. While the asians seem to be smarter, black people better athletes, the caucasians seem to be good at taking advantage of people and exploiting. Once people stop helping people only if they ahve something to gain from it and start helping people for the sole reason that they want to make others lives better, the world will be on its way to being an equally ideal place for everyone to live.

for the last bit about being involved in too many international affairs there IS a difference between trying to improve an economy and political state throw contributions and trade agreements and such and chasing terrorists to other countries and overthrowing dictators while inflicting civilian casulties,
