Official: Phish Summer Tour thread!

PagesHouse is making an appearance at AC? atta girl. my summer is AC>Burgettstown>JonesBitch with an option contract on Charlotte later in august. i am most exshighted for the debauchery which shall ensue at Atlantic City. 2 falls ago i was there and it was a mad house. tanks on the boardwalk, blunts on the beach, spunions holding up blackjack games.. people who weren't there for the shows were so confused as to who all of us were. hilarious. people were ripping balloons while playing roulette i kid you not. and oh yea, 10.30.10 was prob the best show I've seen.

now its gonna be twice as fun cause it'll be 75 degrees out and there is basically no capacity to Bader Field. AC!!!!!
 
If you are 16, and you know you like the music, there is absolutely no chance that you don't leave your first phish show saying to yourself "I need to be at every phish show i can possibly be at."

The door is open young padawan, you just need to walk through it.
 
I'm called "crazy" daily. Aint no thang. Actually we drove from PA to CO last year for Dicks in one night.
We're camping 8 miles away from AC for super cheap at this nice family campground : ) Phish camping > hotels and casinos.... plus, I figure that a large quantity of my friends have hotels so if we need an escape from heat/weather, it will be easy enough to go hang on the boardwalk.
 
Also Burgettstown is 30 min from my house in Pittsburgh, so it'll be my hometown show and ALL of my friends in the area are going = AWESOME time. I'm glad you are going to that one : )
 
my roommate from college is a Pittsburgh kid, so me and our other roommates are having our little class of 2010 reunion at Burgettstown. it'll be my Pitt friends first show, so im pretty excited to bring him into the phamily.

question though. we are camping at a place called Bennett Acres for the show. have you ever heard of it? if so, give me a review! I've heard its the place to be for StarLake and that it gets pretty wild post show.

Awesome! I have a crew of friends going who will be ending their phish show virginity as well... I am so excited to get back to Pgh for this! I do not know anything about Bennett Acres though bc I've never camped in the area since I have friends that are so close, but I will ask some friends and see if anyone knows anything.

In my head im picturing it being like 85 degrees out and a massive crew of over-steezed skiers walkin through lot with goggles on their foreheads, saga jackets zipped open, 4X jibberish Ts hangin to their knees, and Full Tilt boots clankin along with the tounges all open. peoples jaws are just on the pavement like "WTF...."

 
If things go well at bonnaroo I'm going to hit the 3 ac nights. Also planning on doing deer creek>alpine>Jones beach>spac

The deer creek through spac I'm going to be at whether I get in or not.

Thanks for the answer then and I apologize for not knowing everything about Phish. I really only started listening to them like a year ago and have fallen in love. I probably know more than most people who say they like Phish, not the hardcore guys though. Once again, i sincerely apologize for my lack of a masters degree in Phish Studies.
 
It's completely okay. I probably would have done the EXACT same thing to someone who asked a dumb question about Dave Matthews. Thanks though.
 
So what a clusterfuck for GBCC tickets today. I got 2 sundays from PTBM, gonna trade one for a Saturday. Anyone have an extra Friday?

And it makes me wish I lived in California. Took summer classes in Portland for 6 weeks last summer. Got to ski at Hood in late June which was cool but the best part was driving down through Cali all by my lonesome. Went to Redwoods and then to Big Sur. Never seen anything like it in my life. Amazing places, I cannot wait to go back with more time on my hands. You are lucky if you live out there. I've grown tired of my concrete jungle.

Woulda stayed longer but I had to make it from Portland>Superball in 5 days. I made it! SBIX for the win!
 
Loving Dick's is as close to the left coast as I will get this tour.... money's spread a little too thinly right now. OH how I'd love to go to SF, though : (
 
how is nobody going to comment on that prague Ghost? its absolutely oozes with heat. one of the best jams I've ever heard. ever. Ever.

Dude.... Prague.... I dont know.... It just goes without saying for me.... I listened to it and I enjoyed it and I know you know how awesome it is so I didn't feel the need to say anything more.

Prague Ghost is amazing. I've seen it many, many times though. Good to share with others that may have not. Dear guy that was asking who was opening for Phish at SPAC, you should probably watch that.
 
its one of those jams that ill listen to 3 times in a day, each time perma-grinning from ear to ear from minute 9-14 because its so ridiculous... and then a week later listen to it 3 more times in a day.

never gets old.
 
i didn't discover it until last fall. I had always gotten my phish from all the original live phish series cds that my friends and i collected back in the day day. but then i began branching out when i realized you can go on PT and say "sbd" and basically have any show sent to u zipped up. pretty cool stuff.
 
whats the difference between a phish head and alphabet soup?

They both have E, K, and L in them, but the alphabet soup isnt retarded.
