With SuperBall 9 being announced, and Leg 2 lurking in the shadows, lets see what everyone's summer plans/hopes/dreams/pheeeelings are on what will hopefully be a memorable summer!

To kick this thread off,

I will be flying from Mt. Hood, OR back to my homefront east coast for 3 memorable nights in BETHEL, NEW YORK for the first weekend of any caliber in the area since, oh say, a little summer festival on those same holy grounds back in 1969...

I'm going to summercamp so I won't be around for bethel even though I love that venue. Possibly going to hop on leg 1 tour when it comes back east. Might start with dirty jerz and go from there. Def going to have some spac, hartford, mansfield dates in leg 2

And what's your handle?

yea i know once leg 2 gets out we'll see some sorta SPAC/hartford and then some sorta NYC or Nassau maybe north jerz again to finish it off

PT had a rumor floatin around last week about Governors Island

i would throw dub cork 12's off the brooklyn bridge if they have any sort of run there, i live in brooklyn so that would be sooooooo leeeeeeeegit
 
I've never seen the phish at msgee but i head down for shows a decent amount. Was just down there for the heavy pets at the brooklyn bowl.

Was gonna head officially dead from everything that happened in boston for moe.s nye run.
 
sick man. brooklyn bowls tight, saw benevento/russos "bustle in your hedgerow" there a month back or so, that venue is legit. wish i coulda made it up to that moe./lotus minifest at killington a few weeks back that woulda been spin city in more ways than one ha.

Flying back to Ohio for Blossom and Cinci and doing SB9.

Hopefully gonna do most of leg 2 because I have the month of August pretty much free. The rumored dates seem fucking awesome. Easy tickets in CO. Plus Gorge and Lake Tahoe shows. Fuck yea.
 
emptied my bank account on superball tickets and rv rental...ballin out there then who fucking knows. as many shows as possible. depends on skrilla

Best show I was at was probably 10/26/10 manchester

still waiting for leg 2 dates..but if PT speculation is on it then i'll be hitting up the gorge and harveys.
 
waiting for that 2nd leg to drop...got lots of homies from back east doing the whole first run, sadly money won't cooperate to get out and see some shows with them, no matter though, they'll all be out here for the 2nd leg when it drops...

praying for a gorge and if they do telluride again that will be radical, but any CO shows will be appreciated

Well considering it's just bonnaroo and eforest no.

No bonnaroo for me ever again. And electric forest isn't rothbury, would still like to go but probably not
 
haha my thoughts exactly, e-forrest is still up in the air, but it definitly aint no rothbury, it's just that after this last winter carny my faith has been restored in SCI, so i'd like to see what they do at e-forrest, before that i was not very stoked on where cheese was going, but they were back in old form at winter carnival. no matter though, sounds like there might be a fall tour this year...could be cool

 
Well on the phish topic sort of kind of ish. I was at the snowbarn last night at moount snow for the the last day party and whatnot. Had a pretty raging cover band.

I screamed fluffhead between a few songs. Ended up going up to the stage and trying to convince them to play some phish. They played a nasty weekapaug. Bassist was ripping hard.

Going to Watkins fer shure, hopefully SPAC and maybe NJ or Mansfield.
Best show I've seen was 11.28.09 in Albany with the Seven Below> Ghost.

Electric Forest is definitely no Rothbury but its still going to be a great festival.

Best Phish show I've been to..probably Toyota Park 6/11/10.

I got a friend in Burlington who works for a food catering business, and delivered some dinner to The Barn (Phish recording studio) and they were recording for a new album so they let him chill and hangout for a bit, so he recorded some audio on his phone, and i got to say it was sounding real good. Not the biggest fan of there last album, but i hope to hear some of this live this summer.
 
really?? i feel like if you put joy together with party time and call it one album that they got atleast a fat handful of tracks from that which will be quality enough over time to be real classics (in good time). backwards, kill devil, party time, stealing time, SUGAR SHACK, ocelot, alaska (not a big fan), etc...

i feel like if anything Undermind was way weaker. but that being said, not to harp on the 10.30.10 show, which i have a tendency to do, but the undermind they played that night sounded completely different than theyve done in the past. super floaty, pretty adventurous IMO.. hope i get another one of those at some point this summer, i used to not like that song but now i think it kills
 
Jesus, how old were you? I didn't even start going to shows till 04. I mean if I count some other stuff earlier but bands that didn't suck.

ANd the division bell even though it's def not near my top fav albums I like. Gilmour is baby makin music. Has sort of the shine on kind of vibe to it. That strange eerie guitar
