Official Park Update Thread.

Mini Park as of yesterday:

Small Box, Blue Tube, 5ft. rail, 5ft. rail, kink box, legit spine, huge roller, tiny side-by-side jump, hip, mini pipe.

Big Park:

Long Box, C-Box/ Rainbow, Kink/Jump, Battleship, "Booter", Pipe.
 
Alright, the new jump is real sick. It's nice, smooth, and it pops you up a pretty good amount. I fell and ate it though tonight, but it's all good because I plan on wearing my helmet next time. I can definitely foresee some upcoming injuries from that jump this season. It's sick, but also can be dangerous haha.
 
New jump looks real fun. I was there monday and it was closed, but they built up the jump before it, that's been there for awhile. Really fun. Can't wait til hit the new one though.

 
word is that they are totally going to rearrange the big park tomorrow and also add a 55 foot booter after the 35 one, could be true, could be a lie just what i heard
 
they added a FUCKING DOPE down shotgun today

also, i was the first grease the setup at around 12:30 today. so im naming her "beverly"

word is that tommy is putting in the mailbox next to the shotgun, in an urban fashion.

also, bristol in possession of a "monster" corrugated drainage pipe. they dont know what to do with it yet though.

a park crew guy told me i wasn't allowed to bitch about the park anymore....
 
you shouldnt, its actually pretty good now. if you were to bitch about anything, tell them to move the rainbow back to wear the mini pipe is and take that fucking dumb ass mini pipe out, its a waste of snow and time
 
the mini pipe is fun for little lip tricks and slides and shit, its even big enough to air out, i thinks it fun.

but to each their own.
 
Park Crew needs to do their job. They were going down the park yesterday, shittily grooming the lips and landings, yet they didn't bother to get the 3 inches of snow and ice off the rails. So I sat there and waited for the girl to move on from crappily raking the area around the battleship, took my ski off, and scraped all the shit off of the rail for a few minutes. Fuck. Tits. Ass.

dude alright this is how they groom features. they get the whole park crew, as many people they can find and then they find a spot that they dont need to work on and thennnnn they get as many people as physically possible to work on that one specific spot. after they do this they call it a day and go down. the other day some lady was raking the sides of the kink rail for at least 5 runs. she wasnt raking the jump, and not the landing, but the snow on the sides of the rail....
 
its so wierd dude. they spend like hours upon hours just scraping the excess snow and death cookies off the sides/edges of the jumps.... nobody ever skis there, its all just for aesthetic appearance, and its fucking retarded.

when they actually DO groom the takeoffs and lips and such, they do an alright job. but this aesthetic shit needs to stop.
 
update: big park added long flat rail that they had set up urban last year right after the a frame and before the battleship. Also they flipped the tire around so its straight up and moved the black tube that was set up next to the double barrel by the tire pretty sick setup now.
 
it looks like in order to clear it, alot of straightlining is involved.

also, did anyone have trouble getting speed for the jump setups in the triple line at the top of the park?

and i think they should demolish the headwall jump, and just have it as a roll in/place to stand around before the two pack of big jumps and the halfpipe, first off, i fucking hate rolling into the booter (and now the 50 foot) totally blind. second off, theres always fucking people standing all over the deck of the headwall, so even if i do want to hit it, i cant. or i get snaked for the booter as soon as i land. its a stupid fucking setup.
 
ya seriously, your not out west your in ny so just deal. the park is the best its been in years just be happy.
 
so i really started to be impressed with bristol. nice jumps pretty good rails everything was lookin good.... until they put the mailbox up....
 
what did they do with the mailbox? and yeah bristol is sick right now, everything is setup pretty nice except the fdf that shit is so weird i dont like it at all
 
ok so its a "stall" thing. idk its retarded cuz the place they put it in is stupid you have zero speed barely any jump and no landing, i think it was a joke.
