Yup it was on city hall in Vancouver, The one handed over in Turin to Vancouver. Somebody broke the lock and stole it.

Oh well, worst things have happened

fuck all the peopel who wnat to fuck up the olympics, its already happening, and its not gonna stop. They may as well live up with it and try to make it the ebst they can instead of trying to fuck it over. fuckers.

These silly hippies have nothing better to do, now that they're going ahead with the eagle ridge construction. If anything more awareness will be raised to solve a lot of these drug/homelessness problems leading into the games because I'm sure Vancouver doesn't want to be portrayed as a "problem" city. Hello Hastings~

I used to care about the homeless, but now, they can all go die in the cold.

There's nothing I hate more than a so called "activist" that doesn't bother doing anything useful, and would rather just go around causing shit.

Guess what, idiots: LIKE 'EM OR NOT, THE OLYMPICS ARE COMING. Might as well find a way to work with it.

Oh hey I know! Let's kill two birds with one stone and solve the homelessness problem and organ donor crisis at the same time... har har har.

Ok, maybe not. That's kind of sick.

people that steal olympic flags deserve to get there sack stapled to thier legs and are forces to do the splits, i hate people that steal important things

Not really man...If it went from Turin to Vancouver, then it was for the Winter Olympics, or else it would have come from Athens. Thus, the first Olympic Games which this flag would have been for would have been the first Winter Olympics, which were in 1924 in Chamonix, though they weren't designated as Winter Olympics until 1926 by the IOC (International Olympic Committee).

But I still dont see the significance of a flag...

i'm in vancouver, lets go hunt down whoever stole it and say really mean thigns to them and maybe trip them.

1886 in Athens, I think the first winter Olympics were in 1936. Off the top of my head

After 20 seconds of google research......summer 1896, winter 1924.
