idk man, i think both sports can co-exist, especially with flag football being an olympic sport.

NFL aint dumb, they won't fuck up what they got going on right now, it'll take at least 20-30 years before the game is really less entertaining.

That being said I find college football less entertaining, except watching the team I like to cheer for, otherwise there are too many players and teams for me to care enough. I find college football to be unorganized and luck based, half the time the defense doesn't even know whats going on out there and the offense is just chucking the ball around and running through massive holes. Not really a hot take but I understand college football is adored.

exactly, but it is less predictable (sometimes thats worse IMO) and can be very exciting, but ya its a bunch of kids playing its not dialed like the NFL.

I agree with the too much players and teams thing to an extent but I also thinks it’s so cool how there’s group of 5 and fcs upsets and stuff nfl don’t have that vibe. I only pay attention to the conference my team is in cuz there is just way too much going on

And honestly there’s nothing like the atmosphere of a top level college football game between two rival schools. That shit blows any nfl game out of the water.

I don’t think any nfl game even a playoff or “rivalry” game could match any big 10 big 12 or sec game. The nfl is just a product

I grew up going to the orange bowl and watching UM FSU games. That shit was insane. The atmosphere is just mind blowing. when I dated a girl going to Texas A&M they played UM which was rare and we went to the game. The vibe was just off the charts. NFL just can’t compare

The a&m game vs um was in Texas. It was actually my first experience at an out of state game which was already amazing.

prior I had only seen UM play at home , fsu and at Florida. I despise jimbo just because of the fsu/um rivalry.

You can try and convince me you actually believe that, but if you find 1 college game better than ANY nfl game, you just dont watch the NFL and/or don't really understand the game of football.

I could see the more casual football crowd liking college football, there are always a ton of points and excitement, but 9 of 10 TDs in college football is scored because the defense made a mistake, its just boring to me.
 
There's real heart in college football. No BS holdouts like the NFL. The game isn't usually ruined like the refs ruin NFL games.

I actually believe it. NFL is for old fat dudes who like sitting on the couch. college ball is for young dudes who like to get drunk and yell and have fun and don't want to drop 100$ on a shitty ticket. i fall into the latter category.

I mean this take alone proves to me you have a very limited knowledge of the game of football and you're just a casual fan, which is completely fine. Blaming the refs is a classic smooth brain comment, but I don't really blame you for it, the media loves to put a bad call on blast and in the end 99% of the players shrug off bad calls and move on.

Saying there is no heart in the NFL is just a troll, of course some people will hold out but in the end, the NFL is a business... that being said, college football is now a business too.

You can make money and still love what you do.

another stupid ass take that i'll never get, people crying about their local/home team when there are 31 other teams in the NFL you can watch. People get so attached to a team, it actually ruins the sport.

I didn't grow up with a team in the NFL, i didnt really care much for it until I got older and being able to root for anyone and enjoy watching any football team play is amazing, im glad i dont have some dumbass home team that is dogshit to hold me back.

You are so close yet so far e heath. College football is of course no where near of the level of the nfl hence why it is a way more entertaining on the field. In the nfl the skill gap is so narrow between everyone that games just become so boring and repeative. Every team runs a variation of the same offense pretty much, even tho nfl is becoming more spread out recently like cfb. Cfb will always be more fun to watch because of the skill gap between the besr and average players. Whenever the nfl has the no huddle air raid or triple option maybe it could be as entertaining
